archangeli Posted January 3, 2012 You may want to invest in a white-skin-tone bodysuit from the start to protect her from stains, rather than deal with removing them afterwards. Coolcat makes some good ones of different thickness (fabric-wise), lengths and styles, which gives you more options than the Volks one. I've also heard that white-skin DD's may be prone to yellowing from UV exposure. I've never experienced this (nor do I own a white skin DD yet!) so hopefully someone else can confirm or debunk this? PlasticFantastic Posted January 3, 2012 I only have one white skin DD right now and as typical policy with all my DD's I keep them all out of direct light (unless it's for a photoshoot - but that's not prolonged exposure) I've seen DD's with yellowing, part of me wonders if this can also be caused from fabric - usually it's threads that stain and white skins would be just as prone to staining the way the normal skins are. I agree with archangeli - you should invest in some white body stockings for your white skin girls but overall I haven't noticed any real difference as far as staining goes, just the colour of the skin. Happy Berry Bunny Posted January 5, 2012 I too, am planning on a WS DD. so this information is good to hear, well I figured I would get a body suite anyway it just seems like a pain if you are not covering their clothes over the suite entirely T^T;

One example that really jumped out at me was Mitsuki's outfit she had on jun97's Mari: Mari by mitsuki-chan, on Flickr Please visit my YouTube channel for helpful DD tips, tutorials, and reviews! mitsuki Posted January 6, 2012 Thank you, PlasticFantastic! I think some of the body stocking styles are quite nice.
DefectiveAngel Posted January 8, 2012 I own 2 white skin girls and I don't treat them any differently than my regular skin girls. When March rolls around it will make a year owning them both. I haven't noticed any yellowing or that they stain easier. I've been pretty lucky and any stains my girls have are from their previous owners (Yuki and Rina) I'm really cautious with them and I like to mix and match outfits to avoid any staining pieces. Honestly I haven't bought my white skin girls a body stocking for their skin color since I just work around what they wear. Also it is a given I keep all my girls out of sunlight unless I'm taking pics. Since you are getting Saber Alter a full body stocking would be a good idea since her default outfit is dark. I think you shouldn't have any problems with your 2 white skin girls, I feel their care is just like that of a normal skin girl. You will love them as well! I know I love my white skin girls, I think their different skin tone makes them very unique and beautiful. But of course I love all my girls very much. initial Posted March 15, 2012 Just to share my experience on my Saber Alter v2, 1) if you feel like getting a body stocking for her, must get a real thin type, as I gotten one chest high stocking from coolcat but end up didn't use it as it made wearing the black dress very difficult. 2) unfortunate without a stocking, it is very easily to get stain as I have gotten some tiny bits after trying our her training suit, swim suit & her dress 3) the main culprits are her undergarment, the black shorts and training jacket, probably while trying to wear them, its rubs again the white skin of her. other than that, the dress and swimsuit look awesome on her without causing any problem. archangeli Posted March 15, 2012 initial, thanks for sharing your experience with the new outfits for Saber Alter (even if they are somewhat unpleasant ) I think it's pretty bad that her undergarments stain and the dress doesn't! PlasticFantastic Posted March 15, 2012 initial, thanks for sharing your experience with the new outfits for Saber Alter (even if they are somewhat unpleasant ) I think it's pretty bad that her undergarments stain and the dress doesn't! That's annoying.. Then again I rarely have my girls in their default outfits anyway so I think I'll survive.. Please visit my YouTube channel for helpful DD tips, tutorials, and reviews! Poofiemus Posted March 15, 2012 I'll agree the underwear staining and the dress not is kind of odd, but I personally think it's much better that than the other way around. The stain-er-ific underwear can be pretty stealthily replaced with something safe, but to not be able to use that gorgeous dress would be rather tragic. And actually, the fabric of the underwear looks a lot like what they used in Nanoha's default stockings. The black parts of those did stain, but I washed them just once and haven't gotten any new stains from them despite leaving them on over a month post-washing. So it is possible that washing Saber Alter's underwear may cut staining down if any of you have no spare underwear and/or don't want her going commando. In this household, sanity is considered a tresspasser.
Saluli Posted March 16, 2012 Thanks for sharing. Looking the type of the fabric, I was thinking that the swimsuit would be safer than the training set....looks like I was right... Summon ritual is over. And finally complete.
baldylox Posted March 16, 2012 I preordered both of the alternate outfits to go along with Saber Extra even tho they were for Alter. I just thought they were too cute to pass up. So I'm guessing that I should be pre-washing both of these outfits before trying them on any of my girls? I knew the gym set would probably be an issue for stains but the swimsuit didn't look like it was made of the same type materials that normally stain. But I guess to err on the side of caution would be best in this case. Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
initial Posted March 17, 2012 maybe just wash both to play safe? I didn't do that as I still learning how to do that. In any case, the swimsuit i though is for M Bust Size only? baldylox Posted March 17, 2012 In any case, the swimsuit i though is for M Bust Size only? Correct. I bought both extra outfits for my other girls, not for Saber Extra. I guess I wasn't clear on that last time. I have several M-bust girls so I want the swimsuit for them. The tracksuit may also only be for the M-bust but I haven't seen enuff pics of it to tell if it will go on an L-bust girl or not yet. But I'll find out eventually whenever Volks decides to ship my Saber! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
LunaNekoMagik Posted March 18, 2012 Concerning white skin girls, outside of the normal dark colors (like deep red, black, dark blue and purple) are there any lighter colors that stain them? And are there any eye colors in particular that don't go well with the skin tone? Many thanks in advance! ~Luna

initial Posted March 19, 2012 baldylox: i was tempting to try the tracksuit on Saber Extra also but no time for that until next week. Luna: I am still new in this field but I think material also play a part for lighter color, so any light color on material where the dye will not hold will stain the body. I try to avoid darker clothes all together for both my normal and white skin girls so they are mainly kept in clothing that is light in color. Even after being in the same outfit that is lighter in color for a month or so I haven't found any stains on them. As for eyes that don't go well with their skin tone I'm not sure. I hate messing with their eyes and I haven't bothered to change either of my white skin girls eyes out. Currently both of mine are sticking with and will probably remain with blue eyes. ^_^

initial Posted March 22, 2012 hmm if you got spare body you could, but me being 1st timer and those careless type, my saber alter get some small stain from her default underwear & training jacket but the acne cream did help to lessen the stain. lesson learn through the hard way for me. initial Posted March 22, 2012 each to his own, i was also paranoid about it before i receive my girls. but once i get them, i just can't wait to unbox them and see them daily. for those who getting Saber Alter 2nd ver, take note of the following if you are really concern about the staining. 1) her underwear & garter belt (yeah two stain at each side of the hip, even for 1 or 2 days) 2) training jacket & gym uniform set. the training jacket long sleeve rubbing against the arm might cause tiny spot of stain but not as serious as above. gym shirt and bloomers material is what I don't really like as it keep dropping those tiny cotton. 3) swimsuit yet to give any stain but i didn't try wearing for long nor did i have her lie down while wearing it. 4) 10% benzoyl peroxide does work for my alter even if it is a slow process. washing all those clothes before wearing will be advisable by some to reduce the risk.
