Display case recommendations?

I’m sorry if this has been asked a lot, but I’m looking for a display case for a DDS. I can’t seem to find one tall enough. I’ve tried amazon and eBay but none of the ones I’ve found are 60cm. All I need is a simple display case so my cat doesn’t knock it over while displayed on my desk 😅

These should be tall enough for a standing DDS. I measured my Sailor Mercury in her Senshi uniform with it's high heeled boots, and she is just over 58cm. The second one would support the heels, but the first probably wouldn't given the interior dimensions.

With a bit of craftiness you could mount the post of a saddle stand directly on the wooden base.

Not cheap, and it's glass so it will be heavy, and it fell and shattered with the doll inside she'd might be ruined.

This one would work if she were sitting down, but also not cheap. It's acrylic though, so less chance of damage to the doll if it was helped off the desk by the cat.

Edit: I take it back. Sitting she needs 19 inches, or 21 in a Volks chair stand.

Thanks. I’m looking for something a bit cheaper for a desk display. If I had the room I’d buy a glass shelf from ikea. 

Ok, so a few threads where this was discussed before. Maybe these will help.

It looks like at some point I had dug up an option for buying tempered glass panels, and assembling a display cube like you see in stores. That would be fairly cheap, but you would need to find glass or acrylic panels in dd size. 

I am sure at some point someone posted a doll display that was exactly what you need in a discussion thread, but I can’t find it.

It's sort of a challenge to find and buy cheap pre-fabricated display cases for 1/3 scale items since it's not a common scale. 

I had to custom order a large acrylic display case (27"x27"x36") from https://www.casesforcollectibles.com/ and it was around $350-ish?
I also had to pay for freight shipping since it was too large for a regular ground shipment... which was an extra $233.44 (it came in a giant wooden crate on a pallet) This is probably a lot larger than you're looking for though lol.

From the site I ordered before, it looks like a 13"x13"x26" display case will run $132 ~ $200 (excluding shipping) depending on if you want it to have extra features such as a door or mirror.

I'm not sure where you are located, but it might be worth looking up local acrylic/plastic fabricators in your area. Usually these types of places deal with creating retail displays, trade show exhibits, museum exhibits and etc. It wouldn't hurt to receive a quote!
The bonus points of buying locally would be that you don't necessarily have to pay a lot for shipping...

One of the drawbacks of buying an acrylic display case is that they can get scratched really easily and that you can't really clean them with paper towels since it'll get scratched.
