WhiteRabbit's Photo Thread (^.^) Updated 22/09/24

After a lot of procrastination I'm finally going to create a place for all my girls photos. I have been a little extra horrible at giving them proper attention lately, so I am hoping this will keep me in check. I don't usually take enough photos at once for full photo set posts so this makes the most sense.

 

Anyway, the weather is finally improving a smidgen, so Saber and Miku went out on the deck this afternoon! I'm so ready for more consistent nice weather, this winter was way toooo long. 

Not really any interest in this topic  but I'm gonna post a few more to keep my self from falling into a funk.

 

I recently gave my 07 head Kumi a full appearance overhaul. I got her some Elf ears and two toned eyes from Parabox, and I'm loving her makeover.

How did I miss this the first time around??  I love your doll family!  It's always nice to see them for sure.  Miku and Saber are cute of course but your elf redo of Kumi worked out really well in my opinion, I like her new style and look! 

 

But where is my little Rei????  I NEED SOME REI PICS!!!!!!!!

The weather was lovely today (for once) so I took Kumi, Rei, and Yayoi out into the garden for a few quick pictures. I'l start with a couple of shots of Kumi, she seems to be enjoying adventuring through the brush.

Rei was careful to apply her SPF before heading outside

I love how sweet she looks in this next shot, but she fell clean into the bushes afterwards (she was not amused!)

 

Yayoi hasn't had a ton of photo time sense she arrived, but she is a sweet girl and the DDP body is lovely.

She found some long grass to chill out in while her sisters posed for pictures.

The shiba t-shirt is cute. 

I have not taken any of my dolls outside before.  Do you clean them afterwards?

Your girls look lovely and I always appreciate photo-threads.

The Elf make-over is nice, I like the new Kumi ... and have a weak spot for 07 heads.

Thank you! The tee shirt is from Alice Collections. I only clean them after if I happen to get a bit of dirt or something on them, quick wipe with a damp cloth usually gets anything off. Normally they are fine though!

Thank you! 07 heads are one of my favorites as well.

~*~Clyce~*~ she got some new eyes a while back, they are larger then her old ones, but I like how bright they are.

That's one of the Volks prepainted DDH-05 heads right? I've not seen a closeup before and it's interesting in that it's really uncommon for Volks to do a strong cheek blush like that.

Is that a For My Doll wig on your Miku? I've been looking for some non-long/non-twintail wig to alternately use that would be easier to deal with, and there aren't a ton available in an appropriate color.

All your girls are adorable but Rei is still my favorite.  There's just something about her that is amazing and so sweet. 

Your Clyce is also awesome.  I'm a big sucker for the 05 head and the way you have Clyce set up makes her stand out quite a lot.  Excellent work on her!

It is! She definitely has a unique faceup with the burgundy color in the mouth and the heavy blush. I love her though.

It is a formydoll wig! she's wearing This one (I've trimmed the bangs a bit). The color works really well for Miku in my opinion, and it's a great low maintenance option.

Thanks so much!  Rei holds a special place in my heart being my first girl, so I'm glad you like her.

I also love the 05 heads, I should probably post more Clyce then I do, you have some nice 05 girls yourself!

You are very welcome!  Every photo of her just glows for some reason.    As for Clyce, you definitely need to share more of her!  That default Volks face up rocks!  My Akane uses the same head and it's lovely for sure.  Thank you about my ladies, we appreciate it!

I love how fluffy those hats are. Where did they come from? Somehow I still haven’t succeeded in securing a single doll sized Santa hat, and you have so many!

Funny enough the hats come from Dollarama! They are part of a pet Santa set in size Small. The fit is great, and don't break the bank at about $2 a pop

That explains why you have so many then. Lucky! Was hoping it would be somewhere with an online store though.. I’ve looked at dollar shops here but the size is always slightly off. Will have to keep a closer eye on pet sections though. Thanks for the tip!

Awwww!  All your girls look super cute all decked out for Christmas!  That's a nice display they are on too.  Of course they all look nice but my two faorites, Clyce and Rei, look the best.

Miku is checking out one of the massive drifts outside which is about 12 feet tall now I'd say.

It is now roof high in places lol, there are measured drifts in the area up to 15-25ft 😪😪 Is it spring yet? lol, Thanks!

Thank you! Snow Miku would definitely be right at home up here now. My Miku is proably thinking she didn't sign up for this haha.

Update! 

 

We are still in a state of emergency as the city tries to deal with the amount of snow that's fallen. Rei popped out to assess the situation for herself.
