Tierparkzone Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) I got a pack of new hands recently. And while the default Smart Doll hands are fairly versatile, the expressiveness goes waaay up with additional hand poses. Kizuna apparently got flustered by the surprise. But as far as I know her, she's probably just acting. Kanata realized, she can now pick up way more things. I wonder what she is scheming, with that newfound ability in mind... All in all, they seem pretty happy with their present. "High Five!" They are made of the same soft and flexible vinyl as the bust parts (apparently older hands used harder vinyl, like the rest of the body). Just pull outward a little on the root of the thumb and you can wriggle the hand off. But most of them look really similar, so there is barely any reason to warrant getting another one of them. Of course, Kizuna and Kanata had to get into festival mood as well and got themselves some cute yukatas (...and a beer...) Speaking of summer... The girls recently also got a new flatmate. I also have a few more pictures to share today: This guitar makes for a really cool prop. I'd say it is probably more on the 1:4 scale side of things, but it certainly doesn't look out of place. Now the girls can rock out. And yes, the crew has increased again. A while back I was lucky enough to acquire an Angel Philia Ellie. Now, APs are a fair bit smaller than Smart Dolls but the Elle/Ellie model uses a fairly big head. This makes her fit right in with the bigger dolls as a little sister type of character. As Ellie will likely continue to be featured here together with my other girls, I wonder if it might be better to rename the thread and move it to the general photo section eventually. We'll still have plenty of Smart Dolls photos here as well, so I guess for now it still shouldn't be out of place in the Smart Doll sub forum. Anyway... Thanks for checking out the pictures. However this doesn't mean there weren't any other photos taken during that time and I'll eventually put these up here. As my crew now contains dolls from various makers and not just Smart Dolls anymore, this thread has moved from the Smart Doll to the Community subforum. I already edited the title accordingly: "Tierparkzone's Smart Doll Photos" -> "Tierparkzone's Doll Photos" We're still smart - but now we're way more than just smart... And now back to the photos, with the most recent set: Akiba Dollpoint recently set up one of their photo booths with a Halloween theme. Perfect for my resident vampire to get out for a photoshoot. Tierparkzone Posted November 1, 2020 (edited) This Halloween I managed to get everyone into costume and do a small photoshoot - enjoy: First off, we have Kanata in a fancy maid uniform. The costume I intended for Kyrie turned out to be sold out, so instead she went with her usual vampire attire - not that it ain't fitting for Halloween. She also seems fairly picky about her snacks. Next up is saki, dressed as a sexy schoolgirl. Then we have Ellie as a cute lil' demon. Kizuna went all out on the fancy witch concept. Finally for Chitose, it was an obvious choice. From K2's photostory we know that Chitoses go very well with bunny suits. So I basically HAD to... Until next time! Nevertheless, interesting! For all that I am aware, Dr. Who is generally not that well known in Japan. So the staff at Dollpoint probably wasn't aware of the connection either, when they got this tombstone prop from wherever you get stuff like that... It has such intricate detailing and fits her so well. What's keeping it from being perfect though is that the red parts are extremely prone to staining (no issue with the black bits for some reason), so it needs to be handled very carefully. I hate using body stockings because it detracts from sexy styled outfits, how about you? If they don't bug you maybe try one out for Kizuna and that set?
