Ahh, they're adorable! I love their actual branded Haribo gummies, they're perfect for them! The one with the teddy beret is just so fun since she's eating, well, gummy bears, hehe. I love the last photo of her holding the bright pink candy up to her mouth 💗

Tried to take some pictures with this years Christmas illumination around Marunouchi. The shoot was cut short by some very strong winds (almost knocking Kizuna over WITH stand). I may try again in a few days, but I still managed to get some nice pictures. Enjoy:

Tokyo Doll Show 71 happened earlier this month. Afterwards, we managed to hold a little mini meet-up with @Squid & her partner, @ragnamuffin, @XOHimitsuOX and me.

I brought my Kanata:

@ragnamuffin brought her (Azone) Alice:

She was a bit miffed for having been stuck in a bag all day, but quickly brightened up again:

@Squid and her partner brought their Zenon and their Tahomaru. @XOHimitsuOX had just arrived in Tokyo and his poor Alisa's body was still inside his suitcase. - That wasn't a reason to leave her out of the group photo, though:

 

The original idea was, to afterwards head to Meguro River and take a few more group photos with the Christmas illumination over there. Unfortunately, tiredness and cold weather prompted most participants to head home instead, but me and Kanata braved the cold and managed to take a few nice shots:

 

Over the days that followed, both @XOHimitsuOX and later also @MagicalRozen were staying in Tokyo and we took a lot more photos. A few went through expedited editing and already appeared here. The rest will be posted over the coming days here in this thread, so stay tuned.

The next photo event of our Tokyo meetup took @ragnamuffin, @XOHimitsuOX and me to the Marunouchi and Hibiya illuminations near Tokyo station. I brought my Mash while @XOHimitsuOX brought his Alisa. If, after the previous image sets, you still don't have enough of all those bokeh-balls in the background, these are for you:

This one happened randomly, when setting up the last picture. It was too hilarious not to share. (Poor Mash...)

Aaand, here's the next set of photos from the Tokyo meetup. @ragnamuffin and @XOHimitsuOX stopped by my place and we explored the surrounding area together. That day, it was a bit too crowded at the interesting spots for an outdoor photo shoot, but we took a couple fun pictures at home. Everyone had their most recent dolls out.

@XOHimitsuOX brought his Dream Choice MDD DC-H-22 (name still pending), which he had gotten just a few days earlier (see here) :

The cold I caught around Christmas kept me from properly working through and posting the pictures of my I-Doll haul from early December (I might still post the pictures some time in the future). So this little one here missed out on a proper introduction until now. Rino is a DD-H-29 that I picked up from Gyoukoukan at I-Doll. She also was the perfect excuse to get one of the new MDD-f3 2.0 bodies (which are pretty awesome btw.).

@ragnamuffin brought her recently re-shelled Ion:

We wanted to use this chance and compare SmD Cinnamon and DD Tan skin tones, so we also called over Erina, who was all too happy to oblige.

To our surprise, the colors were almost identical (at least in these lighting conditions), with the Cinnamon a tiny bit more saturated than the Tan. I haven't seen Cinnamon skin in person for a while and always remembered it as somewhere between Milk/Flesh and Tan.

This is the big one! Once @MagicalRozen arrived in Tokyo, @ragnamuffin, @XOHimitsuOX and I took her to Doll Point Yokohama for a session at the photo booths there. Thankfully the lady in charge of the store wasn't too strict about the time limit and we were able to take loads of photos.

@XOHimitsuOX brought his still unnamed MDD (give her a name already 😝) :

It appears, Ann ended up with some serious case of bed hair...

 

This was the first time that the four of us got together with everyone bringing at least one doll. - So we had to commemorate with a proper group shot:

I guess, MDDs are a handful...

And here's the final photo set from the Tokyo meetup.

Me and @XOHimitsuOX headed to Ashigakubo to check out the Icicle Festival there. @XOHimitsuOX had packed light that day, so only my Ellie was accompanying us:

 

The Icicle Festival was interesting, but not as impressive as we hoped (mostly because of lack of snow in the area).

Every visitor also got a free cup of amazake

 

Back at Shinjuku station, there were some light installations, so we decided to take a couple more photos there.

Ellie looks like an idol in front of that Shinjuku sign! I agree with Billy, the colorful lights bouncing off her look really beautiful.

Finally, I got around to editing a couple more images. I got a new PC recently that should allow me to do edits more effectively, but setting it up took some time...

Here in Tokyo, we're now in full cherry blossom season, so my Chitose and @ragnamuffin's Ion went to the Meguro river cherry blossom festival for some photos. - Enjoy:

I had been stuck in a major editing slump, but slowly I'm working my way through... - So finally some new photos!

Before taking Kanata to Disney Sea last year, I had to promise Ellie that I'd take her next time. So when I recently went again, of course she was in!

First, we explored the Lost River Delta:

 

Then we made our way to Port Discovery:

Of course, in Tokyo Disney you need some mouse ears. Thankfully, the keychains are exactly the right size.

 

We then moved on to Cape Cod:

 

Finally, we spent the evening aboard the S.S. Columbia and on the American Waterfront:

 

Of course, Ellie brought back some extra headbands for her friends. - Why do I have the feeling that I'll have to take an entire adventuring party the next time I go to Disney?

Indeed, that was an oversight. It's standing out quite a bit, so I'll probably remove it later.

Time to go a bit through the backlog:

These were taken after I-Doll vol.71 in July. - I had met up with @ragnamuffin, @chupakiba and @rudebuster. Unfortunately, the latter two didn't have time to stick around for a photoshoot that time, but @ragnamuffin and her Tiny Fox Cherry stuck around to take some photos with my Kyrie.

It was quite fun, playing around with the two different sizes.

 

 

Bonus: Speaking of I-Doll, in March (after I-Doll vol.70), @chupakiba and @rudebuster indeed stuck around for some photos in front of the convention venue.
