Mine demands padded bras, and makeup which she has no idea how to apply properly. Yours is willing to wear cute stuff like rabbit ears...

Thing is, I surgically "upgraded"(?) mine to a Dream Fitter. I wonder if that causes the different behavior.

Actually, mine has an an x-heart unit replacing her original brain matter, and thinking back on it a bit, around the time she got that she started asking for a boob job. I told her she was perfectly fine as she is, but then I woke up one morning and there she was on a DDS body; with her nails done to boot.

For Kanata and Ellie, I'm more afraid that they'll eventually put together one by themselves.

The one who seems to be most excited to actually fly on one is Kizuna.

Last week, I spontaneously met up with @Lasonda and his Ellie to take some photos at Ueno park.

This was the first time, my Ellie got to meet another Elle/Ellie in person, so she was pretty excited.

The summer heat was pretty taxing, but at least the girls were able to get some ice cream.

The Ellie's are so cute together!  You got some really nice pics of them.  And that's so cool you were at Ueno Park!  I was there for the Sakura Festival back in 2017 and it was amazing.

Ahhh, what a beautiful day. And what stunning girls to photograph on such a day!  Truly your knack for posing dolls in a natural range of movement gets me every time. There's a story here. From shy first meeting to new friends. You even got to deploy the ice cream! (I see that sneaky cone placement in your new photo for the forum banner in front of a certain bikini. 😏) The dancing pose towards the end brings me so much joy. It looks like you had a blast together. Accidentally-matching hairstyles for the win!

The Ellies are soooo kawaii together.

I'm hoping I can do some similar shots with Misaki when her twin Hana arrives.

I had a good evening walk in Ueno Park once, but the most memorable part was seeing a few real life Race Queens doing a photoshoot somewhere near the station 😵.

Even though I bought a new camera at the beginning of this year, recently I didn't post as many photos here as I would have liked. In some cases it's because I posted them somewhere else, but for a significant amount of photos I just hadn't gotten around to editing them yet. So when I went through my archive I found quite a few that should definitely be up here.

So, here are a few of these random shots, with more to come.
This time, I picked out mostly shots with the little ones - because who could ever get enough of Ellie and friends.

 

And when talking of the little ones, we of course can't forget about Tiffany, who is hard at work filling her wardrobe:

The Dollbot pajama is so comfy, you kinda want your own. And it has this fun little embroidery detail, too.

 

Bonus:

Did you know that refrigerated pizzas from the supermarket are tiny in Japan? A "regular" sized one is just the perfect size for a large pizza in doll scale:

The refrigerated pizza in China were tiny too. I used to make my own because there weren't really any ready meals in China anyway.

My girls need those inflatables for the beach. I've found Pureneemo/Barbie sized ones on YJA but there are probably DD sized ones somewhere. It's kind of too late for buying Summer gear now anyway.

Oh and my Iori said that Ellie makes a good Yayoi.

The ring floats I got last year at Flying Tiger. They're can holders for the pool, I just cut out the bottom bit that holds the can.

The beach ball I got at a doll convention, so I'm not sure where you could find that regularly.

Recently, I got a lovely Azone outfit for Kyrie. At this weekend's Tokyo Doll Show, I also grabbed a matching handbag for her, so it was about time to take her out for a photoshoot again. This time at the banks of the Sumida River. - Enjoy:

Uh oh my girls have spied a doll anklet 🤩.

They also think green haired girl's skirt belt is awesome.

That's an adorable outfit and shoot for Kyrie!  Very well styled, and I also really didn't need to know azone outfits fit DDS this well.  My poor, poor wallet...

Hardest part is to wake her up before sunset. The light itself was never an issue:

Yeah, my Emma is the only one close, and she's an M.  So I guess that saves me from tops and one pieces... skirts and accessories on the other hand.

Initially, I wanted to do a photoshoot with all the new stuff from Tokyo Doll Show, but then I ended up doing this themed shoot with only some very specific new acquisitions instead:

I had grabbed a few of these bikinis from TcDoll at an earlier convention. - Finally they were attending again, so I could grab a few more.

This specific style is "Version 2" - which seems to be the most popular one, as it's always sold out at their online store.

"Version 1" features a slightly more modest bottom and changed the color for the top elastic from white to black somewhere between initial release and arriving at the online store. It seems to be discontinued now, as sadly it didn't return for sale at Doll Show.

I also grabbed this wig from Urbs Florum Entertainment, as I think it's a great match for Chitose.

Finally here's "Version 3" that got newly released at Doll Show. - It's basically Version 2 with black elastic. I don't think the neon red stockings are as good a match as the ones included with the other sets, but it's not bad, and you can always mix and match if necessary.
