Just a little update of my darling girls ♥

 

Volks outfits, Taobao shoes, and Taobao jewellery!  Also the tiny Azone girl is new; I received her as a birthday gift from my husband. My mom stitched the cute little felt hearts so I used them in this display ♥♥

 

Angell Studio dress in the back and Etsy seller MoriTime dress in the front, jewellery from Taobao.  I'm really pleased with the quality of the dress from MoriTime.  It was my first order from them but I've already placed another one.  I hope they make more styles in DD size!

 

I have been playing a lot of Trials of Mana lately so Freya is dressed as a Mana Goddess... or at least as close as I could get with my selection of doll outfits and wigs.  I think the look suits her well!

 

Close-up of the tiny 1/12 Azone Lil Fairy I received for my birthday.  She's so tiny, delicate, and ADORABLE!

 

I also received Azone Frozen Meteor Himeno for my birthday.  I'm in love with her colour combination and the stars in her eyes!  I've been trying to avoid looking at new releases for Azone but this one won me over in the end... sigh, magical girls are def a weakness ♥

Hi everyone! I forgot to post pictures of the last few outfits I had on my girls so here are some new ones since I just dressed most of them yesterday. ♥

 

 

I just started playing FFXIV and these two are dressed in outfits similar to what I have tried to recreate in the game!  My character has short pink twintails and I don't have a wig of that style so this is the closest I could get. ^^  I can already tell I will be addicted to playing dress-up in this game!

 

 

These two are wearing beautiful outfits from an Etsy shop called MoriTime.  The dress on Mirai just arrived a few days ago and I'm so in love with it - the details are all so gorgeous.

 

One can never have too many pink kitty girls, in reality or in games!

Here is my Azone Sumire cosplaying as Miku!  The wig is too large on her but will have to do until the new one arrives from Taobao.  I swapped Sumire's AZO2 bust to an Obitsu 50 size S bust and now she can wear cute MDD dresses!  She still has the thicc booty and thighs though, which I think is just too cute with the smaller bust size.  I just ordered her outfit from Codenoir Doll on Etsy and I like it a lot, though the cat paw gloves were a bit disappointing so I'm not using them.  The paw pads are affixed with glue and started falling off as I took it out of the package, sadly.  I will have to fix them later.

Thank you!!  All of these outfits are so lovely... I definitely recommend them all!  I was able to get the Patissier one on Mandarake for a good price, so try checking there if you dont mind pre-owned items.

I'm so happy you like it! I bought it on Etsy from a seller called YueBaiHandmade but it seems like the shop is gone now, which is a real shame because I'm crazy about the dresses I ordered from them. I hope they reopen somewhere else.

 

 

So I have been watching Cardcaptor Sakura on Netflix again for the trillionth time and started feeling the itch to make a Sakura cosplay on one of my dolls.  I found some nice items on Taobao and my order just arrived today!  I decided that Mirai probably has the most classic 90s anime style of face, so she is now cosplaying as Sakura. ♥

 

 

The wig, stuffed Kero, clow cards, and sealing wand necklace are all from Taobao.  I was hoping the Kero would be smaller, as he was a keychain, but unfortunately he is a bit too big... although he is still adorable so I don't mind too much.  I was really thrilled to find a set of bjd-size clow cards, and also ordered some sakura pink cards and a few clear cards as well!  The sealing wand necklace was also a keychain and I'm glad it worked out to be a good size.  The wig needs a bit of styling but I'm pleased with it!

 

 

Now I just need to find a Sakura dress... I have Mariko's school uniform that I guess could work temporarily but I'm dying for Sakura's classic pink dress with the poofy hat, or the cat maid version with the black dress and pink pinafore.  I'll be on the hunt!  I'm also considering ordering a MDD body for her since that would be more suitable, but it's not in the budget right now.

I love your Sakura cosplay! She's one of my favorite characters of all time. The little cards are adorable!

I've been wanting a Sakura doll for AGES and I don't know why it's taken me this long to get serious about searching for stuff.  I'm OBSESSED with these adorable little cards... the seller did a great job on them! 

Also I did contact From-Sen on Taobao about a Sakura outfit and they said they would be able to make it, but that they are very busy right now.  Fingers crossed!

I am surprised she hasn't been an official doll yet. Volk's would bleed my wallet dry with outfit releases alone 😅

Thank you for answering! I was actually considering getting one from Mandarake when I saw your thread, and have now bought it for 32€ shipping included so I'm really happy!!

I actually went ahead and placed an order for the classic pink dress. I contacted the seller and they're able to make it in a medium pink colour with red ribbons so I hope it turns out accurate!

Ohh yes that's a great suggestion! I kinda forget about DDP but I think I'd like that size more than MDD.

CLAMP have been my favorite mangaka for yeeeears, and for so long it felt like merch around their series was pretty lacking until recently. It brings me SO much happiness seeing Sakura, the Rayearth girls, Chii and more of their characters getting dolls and other merch.

I would be so thrilled if you did more of her costumes and/or other characters, too! Thank you for sharing these.

My stuff from Taobao arrived a while ago but I've only just gotten around to trying out the Cardcaptor Sakura school uniform and the pink cat set I ordered for my FF14 character doll. Here's Mariko and Mirai modeling their new items! ❤️

i have a highly-customized 1/6 Sakura Kinomoto, made from the most recent 2017 "Platinum Dress" edition of the TAKARA/TOMY Liccarize doll, mated to an OBITSU 26 body and the accessory Pink dress that was sold at the same time, modified to fit the 26;

Nice! I ordered a 1/3 scale custom of that dress from a Taobao seamstress and I'm waiting on it to be finished and shipped. I'll be sure to post as soon as it arrives!

that'll be great to see!!! for whatever reason, VOLKS or AZONE has yet to even seem to consider their own Sakura Kinomoto in 1/3,

perhaps because TAKARA/TOMY has CCS doll merchandising rights all locked up?

 

in any case, while i have seen a couple other custom, Dollfie-scale Sakuras out there,

she nonetheless seems strangely under-represented, even amongst the hardcore of the worldwide 1/3 character doll collector/customization community...

Anastasia just arrived from Mandarake yesterday evening and I love her so much!  I charged up the battery on my big girl camera just for her 😅

She is wearing some random resin eyes I got a long time ago on Mandarake, a wig from Taobao, and her outfit is from Air Castle on Taobao.

I get gothy/witchy vibes from her so that's how I'm planning to style her for now, but I think she will be very versatile for different looks so I'm excited to dress her up in different ways.

 

 

Also Ranka was looking pretty cute today so she got a snap as well!  I ordered this rainbow pastel wig from Taobao and it's a lot cuter than I expected. I also wanted to try out some shimmery rainbow fabric I got to use as a backdrop for photos. 💖

Thank you! I use a tulle netting type of fabric that has small metallic stars and moons inside of it.
