First DD! DDdy DDH-07 (2015 Pre-Painted ver.)

Ok, so this doll is adorable and I now 100% understand the dollfie dream hype. I ordered her off of Mandarake and, man, they ship like lightning, so she arrived in under 3 days. I really love this Volks face-up as it is painfully cute, but owner pics were very scarce! So my very specific title is because I absolutely must contribute. C; I ordered a very cheap Dddy body to go with her (mainly bc it was from the same store lol) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it has like 0 stains! I even got a cute older Volks set, so she wouldn't be naked and I'm glad I did because wow so cute. I need more synonyms for cute. 

Here she is in this dolly day bed I have. So precious! I wanna get her new eyes and a better wig, but that'll have to wait a bit lol. Also, I was a little afraid of the magnitude of the DDdy chest, but they look significantly less goofy when they're covered, haha. 

I've been doing my best to sequester her away from anything even remotely colored, bc stains are scary. However, there's a black (volks whyyyy) tag in her dress with the Volks logo. Does anyone know if that or the pink overshirt will stain?

I'm not Japanese, but I think "kawaii" might be appropriate.

DDH-07 is great and while I have been reluctant with DDdy for similar reasons( goofy) it suits her very well when dressed like this indeed.

Congrats!  I absolutely *LOVE* the DDdy bodies, they look so good!  It's nice to see another pretty lady using one.    Don't worry about the Volks tag, I've never had one stain any of my girls over the years.  And the pink shirt shouldn't be an issue either since it's a pastel shade and not super bright.  Normally, it's those really bright/loud colors that can cause stains along with the normal blacks and dark purples.  If you're not sure if something will stain, take it and soak it in a big bowl of hot water and see if any color seeps out.  If so, put it in a delicates bag and run it thru a few cycles in your washing machine with your regular laundry.  I have had great success with this and items that stained have been made so that they don't anymore.  It may take 3 or 4 times in the wash but it's worth the time to save you and your girl from having to deal with stain treatments.

The chest does look pretty silly naked, I must warn you, but it does look much smaller under clothing. I do like the rest of the body tho, I think that the thicker hips make her overall shape look more natural than DDs. And the height is perfect.

Thank you! And I definitely agree, the thicker shape of the DDdy body is much more natural-looking than normal DDs imo. I also like that she's slightly more petite with that centimeter height difference. Anyways, it's a cute body lol. Thank you for the heads up about staining! It's good to know that I can leave her clothes on without worry for now. And that info makes me happy that my favorite colors tend to be pastels and whites C; I do want some darker clothing down the line, so I will 100% wash them out. And, thanks, though I must admit, getting this girl is making me rearrange my wishlist to include more DDs... your signature could not be more true.

Oh wow I love her! Mandarake is a godsend, although my wallet doesn’t think so. She’s so cute in that outfit too! Congrats!!

Aw, what a pretty girl! Congrats on bringing her home! I love DDy bodies, my first ever DD is on one - so pleased that they offer a thicker body. The bust does look a bit silly without clothes on, but I think it's partly just the way they stand up without a bra - boobs that size do NOT do that without some kind of witchcraft involved.

Thank you so much! And yes, Mandarake is awesome, I can't wait to order more stuff offa there lol. My wallet definitely agrees.

I'm used to resin bjd, so I think I'm a bit spoiled with proper proportions because a lot of vinyl dolls have the goofiest anatomies. Like where is your ribcage, dolly??? And, yeah, I get the chest shape, but... I reserve the right to make fun of it! 🙂

Haha me too, I had resin dolls for years before I got into vinyl - comparing my SDs to my vinyl girls cracks me up sometimes, like how far in can a waist go and where would these girls even keep their internal organs in real life? But they are so dang cute, as your girl is demonstrating. And their arms stay posed and they don't kick.

Congratulations!!! Personally I lurve the DDdy body and think it's somewhat underrated. My first Dollfie (that I also purchased from Mandarake) is a DDdy Miko and I adore her. Lurve the curvy body and when wearing suitable fitted clothing it looks stunning. I managed to get the volks DDdy pink school beret dress set in animal print and it suits her so well. She wears a white body suit underneath and there hasn't been a problem with staining.

The 07 head is very versatile! It's super cool how much you can customize these dolls.

It's surprisingly rare! I saw it on Mandarake and couldn't resist the sheer cuteness. I love her smile, but I really wish I was a better photographer so I could do get justice. She's much cuter irl haha.

Also congrats on 2B! Black is slimming do it'll probably look slightly more natural on her I think lol. And thank you!

She is incredibly soft l looking. Her face reminds me of a motherly/caring type.
