I saved up my pennies and have bought my first doll (Smart Doll) I am excited to caring from my new doll and would like seek the advice of others on caring for her and uploading her photos! Burly Posted June 18, 2019 Hi. I chose Journey, closed mouth version. I was hovering around the site for a while, but as soon as I saw her I was sold. Also pretty excited, and a bit nervous to receive her as a total newbie to vinyl dolls so not sure how to take care of her. Any tips welcome What one did you choose? As a lot of clothes require you to remove the head and maybe even the arms of the doll, you will want to know, where to grab and pull. The Smart Doll wigs also sit very tight. It takes a few tries to get a feeling for how to put them on effectively. So for your first time I recommend you try it above a soft surface (sofa, bed). - In case the head slips from your fingers, it won't be hitting the hard floor that way. Vinyl is very robust, but it can't hurt to be careful with the faceup. I got the knit sweater and room socks set with her as she will be lounging around the house at first. I need to search for some supplies like a comb, carry case etc so any recommendations welcome.
