cfx Posted April 6, 2020 Nice pictures as usual. I've wondered what this outfit looked like as I don't think I've seen anything but the official Volks pictures. These pictures are also a reminder of how well some clothing issues can be hidden by careful photography and use of appropriate viewpoints. Those SB-SD-235 boots look great here, and look appropriately sized. I am not sure if this was just luck of the draw or if Volks has made refinements, but unlike with my other F3's I had no issues with loose ankles making it hard to keep her upright. BeyondTime Posted May 31, 2020 (edited) So I've done a few things different here. I'm using an 85 mm f1.4 lens which is a recent acquisition, and has been sort of a goal of mine for a few years. Doll purchases kept getting in the way of that goal though. I've also used a photoshop filter from DxO that alters the saturation to make it more like one of my favorite films - Fuji Velvia 50. Along with Provia 100 it was my go to film back in the 35mm film camera days and one of the main reasons I took forever to move from film to digital. The effect is slightly pinker skin, as well as richer blacks and blues. I actually reduced the intensity of the filter effect down to about 60% here. Rei and Ami are social distancing. (poorly) Of course Ami made the masks after consulting relevant medical information from the CDC.
