DD Boy hand options

I have 9S on preorder and I'm planning to split his entire fullset and just keep the doll, but the product description suggests his hands and his gloves are attached and not designed to be separated (as well as having a black wrist frame to match). I figure I'm probably okay to just buy replacement wrist parts and normal or oversize DD hands for 9S, but I was wondering if anyone who owns DDB Kirito or DDSB Len could confirm if the boy arms are compatible with the normal wrist parts?

Upon checking the listing for 9S, this is included in the fine print:

* DD “9S / YoRHa No.9 Type S” comes with a pair of Basic Hands (Large Ver.)(DDⅡ-H-01-SW)

 

So he'll be coming with some ungloved hands and wrist parts also.

The internal frame its the same so yea, you can put any DD hand and frame from girls to boys, i put the hole hand of kagamine rin in ren and fit perfectly the boys uses the large version of the hands.

Lots of people use the large version of the hands just cos they think it looks more masculine (Len and Kirito actually came with them too), but I'm not a huge fan of the larger hands myself. Mel just uses the regular dainty girl hands, they suit him just fine. 9S I'm not sure what I'll do in terms of option hands, because I dont have any SW ones that arent Mikus so would have to get more for different gestures and cant decide if I should get regular or large - he's pretty dainty himself...

I prefer the large hands in general and have them for my girls because I don't like the look of the regular hands and think they mostly look too small and have weird proportions, and I especially don't like the way the fingers are just sort of long cones without much definition. However, I also think Volks using the large ones on the male dolls is slightly odd in that I think the large hands actually look more feminine especially with the more defined and longer nails. Especially on Len with the yellow nail polish. I know they do it just because they are larger, but I don't think it really works, and especially for Len and probably 9S, I don't know why they really need large manly hands anyway.
