July Collection 2019

I got the swimsuit with the pink jacket! I actually wanted the MDD one too and I want more swimsuits in general, but money is tight right now and custom charges would murder my wallet if I got everything ;(

I apologize for a silly question, but I am still fairly new to this. Is there a proxy service that one would recommend? I am unsure how to navigate the japanese site. Thank you! 🙏

There’s an English button in the top right corner. They ship internationally. Even in English some bits will be in Japanese in the cart checkout forms because they replaced their website in a rush and did a bad job of it, IIRC you can just ignore those fields.

Hopefully someone can help me with this: I'm still really wanting to pick up the Marina ☆ Tricolor ・ charming set, but it goes up to DD L bust. My plan is to put it on a DDdy body and judging by some outfits, it should fit I think? Has anyone just put a DD L bust dress on their DDdy to find it fits well?

It's unlikely to fit; if it truly fit Volks would state it as compatible, as they do with various DD outfits. Generally if they also fit DD M bust, they're not going to fit DDdy because making something fit that wide a range of bust sizes would be very difficult. Besides the much larger bust, the waist and hips of DDdy are a potential issue.

There's also the fact the only SD size this fits is SDGr, which aside from the waist is nearly identical in most dimensions to DD. Outfits that fit on DDdy often also have compatibility with SD16.

Why do sneakers disappear before you can finish blinking.

Picked up the white swimsuit/pink jacket combo with a few other items from past catalogues that were left over in the dust.

People are nuts for shoes it seems and I've missed out on some nice ones.

Yeah I've had the same experience numerous times with shoes.

Yep, my experience is that when things sell out, the shoes are always the first things to be sold out.

I've wondered why that is.  It seems especially bewildering considering how many DD owners seem to put shoes at the absolute bottom of their priority lists.  I think someone here commented once they owned several DDs before they ever bought a single pair of shoes.

Maybe it's just that Volks makes lower numbers of shoes, and those of us who do prioritize shoes like myself are absolutely insane and snap them up.

No kidding! I've wanted to get some nice sneakers for my girls for some time now. I'm a little annoyed that I missed out *again* because I was camping when the July Collection went up. Shoes aren't at the top of my priority list but it seems that when I do find something I like it's gone instantly...

That's a shame. DDdy seems to get neglected a tad in the clothing department I guess. I was tempted by some SmD clothing too but I think DDdy has wider hips and legs too. There's really no winning with that uwu

Yeah, I think DDy would struggle with SmD clothes except maybe some stretchy tops that can fit the SmD L bust. I can't see her fitting into any of the bottoms. Her legs and hips are pretty chunky.

The shoes this time didn't actually go in a blink though. I check somewhat late and they were still available (I was really surprised and tempted to snatch a pair but money is tight). I got my white swimsuit pink jacket set today (30 euro customs christ's sake), it's suuuuper nice quality, I love it

Smartdoll pants are a good fit on the hips of a DDS.

Full length pants are too long for DD/DDS, but the shorts fit DDS really nicely.
