I've been in the doll hobby for a couple years, but I'm just now joining the bigger vinyl side of things - I ordered a Smart Doll Felicity on layaway a few weeks ago and I'm eagerly looking forward to paying her off. Up until now, my collection has been entirely resin, with a few small Obitsus. I'm actually a little anxious about how big my Felicity is gonna be, the biggest resin bjds I have are all 1/4-sized. 😅 I'd really love to own a Mini Dollfie Dream and some bigger Obitsus someday, too. Unless you've already held a large vinyl doll, the weight can be surprising compared to resin. So even though she will be bigger, she will be easier to wield since she will be much lighter than 1/4 resin dolls. I also love the small dolls! I have a PureNeemo on the way and I can't until she arrives. Yeah picking up my Dollfie Dreams or Smartdolls is really different from picking up my resins. Fully armored Saber Lily weighs much less than my SD16s. The stands my vinyls sit on are heavier than they are. The difference between Dollfie Dreams and Heroin? deinosor Posted July 6, 2019 Welcome! Like you I collected 1/4 resin for years before getting into vinyl. I think you're going to really enjoy Felicity - as the others said, their weight is surprisingly light compared to resin, and I still get excited about how well these girls hold a pose. I'm excited to see just how big she is compared to my Obitsu11s and other tinies; I think doll size comparisons are so fun. Guest Posted July 11, 2019 My first large doll was a DDdy, so I didn't notice the weight difference like those who were into resin beforehand. What surprised me was how nice having a MDD is!
