C.C. will have me in real trouble if her sculpt/faceup hold true. Her product page says released in 2020, so she could open for order at anytime I feel.

As far as I know, Smart Doll carts don't work like Volks. Having him in your cart is no guaranty that you'll be able to buy him.

I hope for you that supplies will last until Wednesday but Danny mentioned on Twitter that at the rate he is selling, he'll most likely be sold out by Tuesday.

Even when Volks' cart system worked like that, items were only held for a short time, I think 30 minutes. It definitely wasn't days, and I don't think it works that way really anywhere.

On the old Volks Jp site, it was something like 30 minutes preservation in cart if you weren't logged in and 12 hours if you were logged in.

I would have done anything to get Suzaku, since he's my favorite character in an anime ever, but I found out about him too late.😭

I know the Lelouch and Suzaku pages currently say "no plans to restock," but I wonder if they'll be rereleased when C.C. finally makes her debut. Personally, I need more Lulu in my life

I really hope so! I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread as well as the website. I need that Suzaku!

Over the past week I watched Code Geass for the first time. I really liked Suzaku, and I love him in doll form, I have no regrets with that purchase.

However, I absolutely loved Lelouch's character in the anime, and I wish I could have him in doll form, too. I couldn't get both boys at the time, so I chose to get Suzaku, whose sculpt I liked a little more. I wonder if Lulu will ever get a third release, or if I'm just SOL due to high aftermarket prices.

I think the chance is pretty high. Lelouch and C.C. kind of go together.

Suzaku's face sculpt is so unique, I hope they bring out something similar for basic boys eventually! Crimson/Eiji are a bit sharp featured for me, and I'm not a huge fan of semi real so Gemini is out...

I thiught this was already posted, but a couple of weeks ago Danny posted what (to me) seems likely to be CC’s head.

He also did another tease of a full doll that looked very much like CC (no face shot). She has been a long time coming and at this point, she could be announced next week. . . Or another two years from now.

@marishade is right, there’s no way of knowing…I really do wonder about the production schedules for licensed Smartdoll. It’s much longer and more inconsistent than the comparable times between Volks announcing licensed DDs and the dolls themselves being shown/going on order. 

CC was teased with a photo of what looked like her completed uniform and potential wig in September 2019! And then there’s Naruto, who was teased on Jan 2020 with a painted headsculpt/hair piece and outfit — by all appearances pretty much a completed prototype — and has yet to be scheduled for release two years later. I’m sure with licensed products the license holders’ expectations can be strict or unusual and lead to delays, but it really seems like licensed SmDs are more likely to get lost in the cracks or fall into production hell than other licensed dolls. (As non-Volks possible points of comparison, Azone also releases their dolls on a far more regular and reliable schedule, and the handful of licensed resin BJDs by IOS, Fairyland and others have also has their schedules announced in advance and adhered to.)

Not to mention a certain someone seems to be quite difficult to work with and is prone to burning bridges when things don’t go his way…
