Face up question

Curious to know if a DD head could be ruined if it receives too many face ups? Say you mess up and redo like 20 times? 

I bought all the materials for a face up but have been hesitant about getting started. 

The primary way the head can be damaged is by using too strong chemicals on it. If you are using Mr. Super Clear for the sealant as is common, all you need is 91% alcohol to remove the faceup; do not use something like acetone or lacquer thinner, both of which can defintely ruin the vinyl.

I had my old 06 for YEARS and I had done definetly more than 20 faceups on her. The only change that really happened was a little sealant caking in her ears when I didnt feel like fully cleaning it! As Cfx said, as long as you're using stuff that wont break down the vinyl, it'll be alright!
