She's absolutely stunning and I adore her from head to toe.  But for some reason she's gone the whole Apocolyptic route and is doing her best Terminator bit.....  😉

Anyways, thank you to everyone who messaged me about her, I really do appreciate it!  It's allowed me to complete my Icon family.  I'll make a separate post with more pics of Lilac and of her with her new sisters.

I'm totally in love with my Lilac. And damn...that pearl effect on her skin. Just wow.

And that really makes me want getting a Clover as well. xD

There's usually 2 times a year they do lotteries for the Icons so I'm thinking there will be another by December.  

Lilac is gorgeous!  I had so much envy of my friends, every time I saw her I wanted to snatch her up and haul her home.  😄  Losing out on the lottery sucked but I now know it was because THIS Lilac was mine.  She's the one who was supposed to come and live here with me and my girls and I'm so happy she did!

I hope you do get a Clover!  Her skin looks amazing out in the sunlight.... she glows just like Lilac does.

Not sure I'll find the answer, but thought I'd ask just in case. I heard that the Icon's faces are done similar to the SD. Are they sealed enough that the makeup won't rub off? I try to avoid touching a doll's face, but I change my doll's clothes a bit and head touching is inevitable. I just want to know how (if any) much more careful I should be with my Icon.

I have not had any issue with the sealant besides my Lilac face-planting soon after I got her. Her nose now has a circle of no-faceup on it. Since then she has fallen twice, no damage.

No issues with rubbing from wig/clothes changing either. Seems as solid as all the faceups on my resin bjds. All the same, I follow the rule of touching the face as little as possible for all my dolls

For anyone that has changed their Icon's eyes, what size are they? I know they say 18mm on the website, but that seems like a large estimate. I don't want to have to take my girl's eyes out to measure and lose her eyelashes. Rather had a new pair of eyes in hand before I attempt it. Appreciate any info!

Serra is beautiful, I hope to adopt one one day.

@Mandie Since I needed to fix her eye and eyelash... Here is my Serra with a Volks purple 22mm eye and a green 18mm one:

@Yumeiro Thank you! That indeed helps out so much, thanks! Is it hard to replace the eyelashes? Anime eyes are kind of cute on her as well ♥

@Mandie I think it's hard to replace/attach eyelashes! Well, many find it frustrating, for sure.
Best thing to do is make sure any and all glue that is pre-applied on the lashes are removed, so that they don't stick to everything...
I've actually placed new ones on-top of the default ones.

I just wanted to share that I was finally able to welcome Serra! I've been after her for years and lost every lottery, I finally found one for adoption. I've named her Willow ^^

 

She's beautiful! The Icons are truly special, Congrats

Wow, she is amazing!  I love the wig and eye combo on her.  And that photo makes her look ethereal.  Congrats on such a beautiful new addition!

I have fallen helplessly in love with Serra and really hope there will be another lottery event!

@baldylox Thank you very much 💖 The wig and eyes are older items I had from my earlier resin days, and I'm so glad they are a perfect fit on her! Normally I try out a few different combinations before settling on a look, but this was just such a beautiful a combination overall.

@Chiakisenpai I think it's likely they will do another lottery event and I hope you get to welcome her! It seems the 2021 event had more Serras, but I preferred the 2019/2020 faceup.

Can't wait for this year's announcement! We did a bad....we got all 4 girls with open eyes, and then got lucky in getting a Petal with romantic gaze....now I think we need the other 3 in romantic gaze as well. Gods help us..... Lol

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA!  Welcome to my personal hell!  😄 

Seriously tho, I have all 4 of the Icon girls but 2 are regular and 2 are the Romantic Gaze. So of course I had thought the same thing you're now thinking.... you need one of each style for a complete set!  😉  I finally thought it thru and decided against it.  But since you and Ed are easy to manipulate and enable, I'm gonna say go for it!  How badass would it be to see EIGHT of the Icons in both setups they are available in?  It might be expensive and take some time but man, the photo ops alone would make it well worth it!
