c4tbus Posted July 23, 2019 (edited) i have alway wanted a display of dollfie dream busts on stands! so when the f3 frame was released with a little peg at the bottom of the torso, i knew it was my time to shine! i played with stand design for a long time before settling on something simple that could look sharp with a wide variety of styles. i started by lathing down two pieces of walnut, one for a dds, the other for mdd. then i resized the holes to fit a piece of 1/4” brass rod, and drilled low tolerance holes for pegs into the brass. once everything was fit, i sanded and oiled the bases! i think they look pretty sharp in the end!
