How do you attach a dollfie dream head to a 40 cm obitsu/paradox body?

Are you supposed to get a neck adapter? Or do you need a mdd internal frame? Or something like that? I'm confused...

What you'll see below are photos of an Obitsu 50 neck joint + DDH-10. To my knowledge, the neck joint for the Parabox 40cm is identical to the Obitsu 50.

First, take the neck joint itself and disassemble it.

The part marked with a red "X" is a part you won't use.

Now reassemble and attach the neck joint as shown in the photos below.

I would add a plastic washer of some kind between that spring and the head because over time the spring WILL cause cracks and can push thru that hole damaging it.  I only say that because it's happened to me several times so now I use plastic washers under all of the ones I have and there have been no issues since.

Thank you so much for these very demonstrative intructions! I had a problem with fitting my Dollce head(Myau) on a obitsu 40cm(parabox) body:D With your instructions, I got the head attached and working well🙏🙏🙏

Ohhhh that's a nice technique. I actually attached my DDH head to obitsu 50 body by cutting two loops off the spring and using the neck connector as it is intended. It works too :)

Banjo here is a DD #10 head on a obitsu 40cm. I plan on switching this head to the 45cm body soon.

Just checking, but I assume using a washer instead of the triangular piece gives me more range of motion?  (From the person who just put on a head while using the triangular piece lol)

Thanks for this guide! I had no trouble attaching a Dollce head to an O48-type body and used a plastic washer that came with my O24 as Billy suggested above.

Interestingly, mimiwoo has a similar guide for this process, but they have you not remove the cap. I imagine it would be quite difficult to get it on with that cap's extra length though.
