Mai & Mamimi lounging....

Mai and Mamimi really seem to be enjoying their loungewear sets I got them for Christmas.... they've been wearing them for a while now.

 

So I decided to take some pics of them enjoying themselves.

 

I found them hanging out on one of their beds.

Aw! Mai is being so sweet to Mamimi here. I'm sure Manami is good to Mamimi overall, but it's probably good for her to be "sistered" by someone without quite as much ego once in a while. Both their outfits are adorable, too!

 

Don't worry about what sound bunnies make, Mamimi. For years I didn't even know they had vocal chords; evidently they only make noises when "pounced" so you got it right.

Those kitties just can't resist pouncing on unsuspecting bunnies...

Mamimi shouldn't feel embarrassed about not knowing what sound a bunny makes, none of my girls knew either!

They look great in those outfits. I'm glad Mai coaxed Mamimi out of her shyness. And have I ever told you how jealous I am of those beds? They are perfect.

 

Since my "daughter" is a rabbit (litter-trained, just like a cat, and very smart), I can tell you that rabbits don't often make much noise but they can be vocal if they want to. If annoyed, they can give a little honking grunt noise. They make lots of nibble noises, too. But mostly they are silent. In Japan, I believe usagi go "pyon pyon," which is the onomatopoeia for "hop."

Wow, thanks for all the rabbit info! I had no idea really as I have personally never heard rabbits make any noise. I'll be sure to tell Mamimi about all this, especially the "Pyon Pyon" noises. She will find that way cute and prolly being making those noises for DAYS. LOL
