baldylox Posted August 28, 2019 I know this post is WAY overdue but work has been killing me lately and I haven't had the time or desire to update as much as I wanted. But now that I am on vacation, that's gonna change! So be ready for lots of posts this week! This meetup was held on 6-15-19 and it was one of our sewing and craft meets. I had just received my Cortex kit so I brought it along to build during the meet. I also brought all the tools I thought I might need to build it. DSC_0155 by Billy Bennett, on Flickr The head you see above was not included in the kit, it's a vinyl head I got a while ago from when Archangeli picked up a bunch of vinyl bits at the Mirai store on a big clearance sale. Below, you can see that the skeleton was already built so I didn't have to do it. I just had to assemble the body around it. DSC_0156 by Billy Bennett, on Flickr Here's how it goes together. The larger ones are for vinyl hands and the smaller ones for the harder Cortex hands. As for the Cortex bust, I glued the bust together so there's no issues with it at all when posing the body. Overall it's very sturdy but you can check it out for yourself when you come down next time! Billy I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.
