That is definitely Wonder Woman. She looks very similar to the Diana prototypes in the garage sale section. 

Gotta admit that she looks very cool. 

Wonder (or whatever her name is) looks gorgeous - I love those eyebrows 🥰

OMG I have wanted her since I saw her, never thought she would ever get done!

oh thank god, I've not wanted to buy any cinnamon girls because the body/skeleton color mismatch looked so bad. This is great news. 

General stuff, milk is selling out pretty fast.

(also I was holding out 'till next year for vinyls and expecting to get a semi-real but Diana might have just thrown all my plans out the window...)

If I understood correctly, he is planning to make some more milk skin toned girls that are currently out of stock. Maybe Trinity? Hey, I can always hope.

...for as much as an actual doll only to pre-existing customers. 😐

(At least guarantee that they'll be able to get a body later for free/cheaper so that the price will be worth it...) 

I haven't been to the official site for a while and is there no longer an apparel set option? When I select vinyl body and "add apparel" only a list of recommended apparel pops up, but no apparel set info.

No, Danny stopped offering it around the end of March or early April.

Those gloves are hella rad, they'd be perfect for superheroes.

Heads are complicate. (but no one expects them to be $10.)

(Also if you threw defective heads into a grab bag I am 100% sure people would buy them anyway. LET CUSTOMIZERS BUY THE WEIRD HEADS DANNY.)

To this I say, if the bodies are so little of the value in a full doll, wouldn't selling bodies by themselves be fairly profitable, and therefore should be more available?

To which the response is probably something about there not typically heads by themselves for sale, and not wanting to promote hybrids with other companies, and also something about maximum capacity at the casting factory. 

Still, separate bodies would be a way to replace a body that was broken in more than one place. But they would probably only sell them to existing owners, and not new customers or something like that.

Yeah, I think if there were listings along the lines of "[Name] head, defective make-up," a lot of people would be eager to buy them, especially if they want to customize their doll.  It doesn't seem like it would be that much work... they already have the defective ones pulled out and sorted, it looks like, so they'd just need to make an order page and then grab one out of the bins in the picture and ship it out when someone buys one.  They don't need to describe the exact condition of every head, just copy the rant disclaimer from the Chaos page or something.

Except..... He did used to sell bodies separately, and afaik they were available to anyone. The page was taken down in the past couple of days, but I want to say they were something like 38k yen each? I could be remembering wrong, but the math definitely didn't add up.

Right, but they were frequently out of stock, and the link to them was often buried in the site. I personally never once saw the boy body in stock.

I agree that the cost that he was charging for the body when subtracted from the cost of a full doll does not add up for the cost that he is asking for a head plus wig and eyes. I'm just saying that I think not often selling separate bodies and only selling these overpriced heads to people that already have a milk body is just another way to control our ability to hybrid or otherwise customize the doll that we own once purchased. I don't think he really wants us to change his dolls, though he will tolerate eye and wig changes. If we had as many tools to customize these dolls as we have from other companies, then everyone would know how many of his dolls really share the same sculpts, and not just those who are used to recognizing the underlying sculpt rather than the character that's been created. I like hybriding heads I like with various brands' bodies, because it gives me more variety. Soon that ability will be completely gone with this brand except with second hand finds because the available skin tones won't match anyone else.

Anyways, my original point is that freely making bodies available, frequently restocked, and easy to find could be a good form of profit if they are supposedly practically given away with a full doll, but was likely limited because he'd rather we buy a full doll and not change it much so it's more recognizable.

Not sure if I should put this in the other thread but, in a group I recently joined there was a post yesterday about this. Someone said that their SmD was floppy with a video of them moving the doll to show how floppy it was. (Obviously, this is just production error or the spine could have been loose). They did update the post saying DC did help them and it doesn't seem like DC made them return the doll either ( like he usually does). Although, that post he made did feel a bit off.....

(Also, vinyl not cortex after all, boys are in the works as well, people requesting grey so they can make drow elves, glow in the dark SmD are gonna be creepy as heck especially if 3-eyed but I am here for it.)
