I placed an order at Volks USA last week, and received it today.

It's just a little something for Kudo.

Isn't she cute in this new outfit?

This pose kind of popped the legs off.  

 

Louise is perfect in a DDP size. I'm appreciating more and more the different body sizes that Volks offers, even if the result is that their clothing isn't the most form fitting or tailored.

I just knew Kud would look fantastic on a DDP. If I ever manage to get her I’ll definitely be following your lead on the upgraded body. That pink and blue outfit suits her really well too. 

Thanks, @lardroom and @Beani!  Louise and Kudo both are better suited to DDP.  The clothing issue can be frustrating, especially since the default outfits for these two are fitted to MDD, and will not fit DDP, but I might see if I can commission at least Louise's outfit.  I've never gotten around to watching Little Busters, so I don't feel like I need Kudo's right now.  

@Galvatim It’s disappointing the defaults do not fit. Are the skirts too short or are there other issues as well?

If you ever want to explore Little Busters I really recommend the VN over the anime. I adored the VN (though Kud’s ending was the only one I did and it was weird as hell) especially in the common route. The VN means you can actually spend time as you like rather than be on the rather strict and dull timeframe in the anime. I didn’t finish the anime cause they just didn’t handle the story well enough compared to my love of a Kud heavy Common route. 
 

Who knows though, maybe I just didn’t give the anime enough of a chance. I don’t remember watching many eps at all. I think from memory they did some of common route well but it just wasn’t the same as playing the VN.

Not only are the skirts too short, but the shirts are too.  The stockings don't fit either.  

I see the VN is out in English, and there's even a Switch port coming out.  I'll check it out.

@cfx was just saying yesterday that all of the MDD limiteds really fit DDP better than MDD. I don't know a lot about the other characters, but I did I think that of Prisma Illya in Grand Order.

The shirt from Louise's school uniform is too short.  I'm pretty sure Kudo's shirt won't fit DDP at all.  It's too tight, the Velcro can't close.  I'll try it on DDP again sometime to be sure.  Kudo's stockings won't fit, either, which surprised me.  

I agree, most of the MDD limited characters are better suited by DDP.  I have always felt Louise was on the wrong body, she's a teenager in the series, not 10 years old.  I legitimately like Familiar of Zero, and Louise as a character, so I'd rather have a doll that embodies her properly.  Seriously, I could have entered for Sasara in that lottery.  

DDP opens up a lot of doors for Volks.  DDP Lina Inverse and DDdy Naga the Serpent?  DDP Kuroko and DDS Mikoto from Railgun?  I'm sure there are other characters I'm not thinking of who fit DDP. 

Illya...  I actually think MDD works for the F/SN version.  Prisma Illya feels like she should be taller, although she's given the same height by Type-Moon.

That's something I would love to see, although I'd take Gourry over Naga, and I have zero interest in boy dolls. It's kind of like with Tuxedo Mask & Usagi though, you kind of want Lina and Gourry together. Not that I would say no to Naga.

Volks could do a lot with DDP.

That shirt is too short, it looks like she outgrew it, and the skirt is a bit on the short side as well.

New eyes for Mirwen.  The doll dots are jewels, appropriate, given her name means jewel maiden.  

These eyes are from Marison on Etsy.  

Kitty Kudo!  This is an Azone set.  The cat ears headband doesn't fit MDD heads, and the cat tail fell off the bloomers after putting them on the doll.  Fixable, but annoying.  Levy will be wearing this at some point.  

Swapping in the Volks bloomers and headband.  

Kudo is watching her social media in hopes that her kitty mode starts some conversations.

I believe it was @Cauldroness who recommended Marison to me, and if Cauldy recommends BJD eyes, you know they'll be awesome.

The next stage in Mirwen's evolution may be a new wig, likely in this pale purple shade.

I'm not sure this outfit is really sized for DDdy, but it kind of fits.

It'd be great to get a Kanu ver. 2!  I bet Volks would even match her to the current tan skin, so replacement parts would be somewhat more doable.
