New house and downsizing....

Yep...I moved to a new house with my parents and younger sister (despite being 21 yeah I'm like the many unfortunate young adults that don't have money and are forced to move back in with heir parents...though in my case I was never on my own) Sadly...we haven't even settled in yet...I don't have furniture in my room yet except a dresser that we've had since like.....early 2000's maybe even the 90's. I have to sleep on the couch (not that hate it since I'm used to sleeping on couchs anyways)

 

As far as my DD hobby goes....its been put on hold on account of RL issues and since moving I have to downsize and limit my spending to only when it necessary. As for the wig I was SUPPOSED to get for Akiko from Dollheart...I never got it and I got an email weeks back that it was sent back to dollheart. That really made me angry.....so technically I only have clothing and shoes and a few other things...and I'm not sure if my aunt got the 02 head.

 

Sadly I think right nowmy dream of DD of my character Akiko is about as unreachable as me taking a trip to Japan or the U.S getting Samurai Warriors 3 Empires.....I'm not sure if I'll ever get everything I need but when I save up and the opportunity presents itself I won't hesitate to take it.

 

P.S I watched Gurren Lagann.......I honestly don't like Simon acting like Kamina after Kamina's death...kinda stupid but whatever. The series is still good. I don't like Nia though something about her annoys me. I still like Yoko though she's awesome ^^ I intentionally let the opening song play out because I like it alot LOL

I hope your living environment improves. Having your own bed is nice. That is terrible about not being able to put your DD together. I hope you can someday even if it takes longer than planned. Did the wig from DollHeart get returned because of your address change? I hope your aunt has the 02 head. It is hard having things not come together. I hope things get better soon.

No It happened way before I moved. It supposedly came in but UPS didn't ring the dorr bell or even knocked on my door so I was left wondering when it was coming then I get the email it was sent back to DollHeart and my heart just shattered because I wasted like....$40 on that wig...and the was the wig I wanted for Akiko *le sigh* oh well...I guess I have to get one from Volks USA...god knows I've bought stuff from the website at least three times already XDD

Moving in with your family has a plus side and that is free rent! I'm sure you won't need to worry about that, so you can save up more money for your hobby

Couldn't you just ask them to resend it? Or even refund you the cost of the wig?

Hahahahaha... Sorry. The moment I turned 18, my parents started charging me rent. I am speaking in literal terms. My first rent payment was due on my 18th birthday. It wasn't even small, actually. Let's just say it was a very large percentage (well over 50%) of my parents' rent payment and was several hundred dollars. Due monthly. I don't recall the exact amount now since I'm in my late 20s, I just know it was a huge percentage of my monthly pay at my job and made saving money utterly impossible (I had to pay for car payments, car insurance, and gas on top to even get to work...). That's why I moved out ASAP (well... one of the many reasons). If you're lucky enough to have parents who don't charge you rent though, I can see living with them for a while to try to get more on your feet financially.
