Obitsu11 Discussion (Mini Sweets Dolls etc)

Minne.com has a nice selection of Ob11 clothing, I have one of my two Minisweets in a cute set by this shop (the other is in a set I found on Taobao).

@Blueberrie How is that shops quality on clothes? I found them after getting a cat headband by them for cheap off Yahoo Auctions, but some of their regular prices are a bit on the high side. Wasn’t sure on making the jump and buying some of their dresses (the latest new release looked pretty cute but sold out so fast  )

I have one dress by them, it's really gorgeous. Lots of cute details. It was pricey, but I fell in love with the set I saw and I only have two girl Ob11s so I splurged a bit. It's really one of the nicest tiny outfits I've seen. 

 

Ninimal is also a nice source for more modern style things.

@Blueberrie Thanks for that! I’d love to see which of their outfits you have so if you ever get a chance to post a pic please do (of both your girls!). I’ll have to start stalking them a bit more in the hopes of securing a pink outfit by them.

My last picture in this thread was Ninimal clothes (and mi couture bag now I look at it). Ninimal really has such a nice, simple quality to them. I quite like the outfit for a more clean look so it’s a good recommendation  

Looks like I didn’t post Lia in her new huge wig so here’s a quick shot of her. I just love the massive hair on these tiny girls.

@Blueberrie Oh man I am jealous of that set for sure! I saw it in purple and was kinda tempted but for the price it really had to be the right color (pink). Do you happen to know if they ever make the same outfits again?

Yeah, in Snow skin. My other girl is a Snow Mint.
Cute dolls with serious expressions are a weakness of mine, I think they're extra adorable. :3

I don't know if mi*couture remakes outfits, though. You could ask on Insta?

Man, these little ones are going to be bad news for my wallet, hahaha.

That first Obitsu girl is really cute and the lottery entries clearly agree with that. I'm always amazed at how much people will pay for heads in this hobby (even if these prices are set much lower than the super popular heads go for).

 

@Selenae I hope your wallet can survive the onslaught! I got so drawn into outfits and accessories at first too. Can't wait to see your girl!

Especially from certain faceup artists, of which I believe this is one.

@Beani Well, I don't have a Mao yet, sadly. Someone else bought the one I was eyeing overnight on Wednesday. 😭 So, I'll wait for new ones to pop up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Summer Mao, or just a regular whitey one with purple or green eyes.

@Selenae Oh that’s sad to hear. Given when the dolls go on sale though I suppose using a proxy will be pretty hard to secure more popular sculpts. I was eyeing off a Chicory last week and decided at the last minute not to buy. But I think she was gone in a minute or two. 
 

Though it sounds like yours sold outside the normal release time so I guess it was just bad luck. I hope you can get one soon!

@Beani Yeah, me too! I have been looking around on Mandarake to see if there are any Maos that call out to me, but I haven't really seen any. I'm fine with waiting, to be perfectly honest.

@Selenae I'd also recommend watching Dollyteria since they can ship overseas too. They put a bit of a premium on some Mao's but others are pretty ok price wise. They have some really cute ones at the moment: https://www.dollyteria.com/product-list?keyword=dollce　マオ&Submit=検索

 

If Mao had a little less blush I would totally have one myself too.

Tyrol and Ribbon are my newest additions.  First time having these small girls.  Never knew there was a mini sweets to grow my army with.  Going to try to resist and buy more clothes for them instead.  

So, ah, I did a bad. I came across this absolutely adorable Vanilla with purple eyes (my favorite color!!) a couple weeks ago in Mandarake, and I instantly fell in love with her. Today, I caved and ordered her. Now I just have to wait. I don't know why they listed her condition as 'B'-grade, though. She's still sealed in the inner bag.

Ahh, she's so cute! I love her color scheme.

Those two are seriously adorable. I wish I had latched onto small girls sooner so I could have gotten an order in for one of them. Oh well! Would love to see a picture of them one day!

@Selenae Great find! I love her color scheme as well. She looks very fresh and the purple really pops as a contrast. Vanilla was my second choice when I went to get my Lia (Licorice) but luckily I got Lia and my boyfriend bought the adorable Vanilla for himself so we ended up with both. I love her sculpt!

I don’t like their default outfits being so plain but I guess you really are paying for the heads mainly. I get that they were meant to be kinda DIY but even as an attempted beginner sewer I kinda just want my dolls to come in a completed outfit. 

Think you will do any adjustments to the base dresses?

@Beani So, I just paid the shipping charge on my Vanilla! I'm super excited, I can't wait for her to arrive! I'm going to name her Hime.

@Selenae Hime really suits her, good choice! I hope she arrives with you quickly since shipping can be a little hit and miss these days. 

@Beani Thanks! I've been picking DHL over other options, because while it's expensive ($35 flat), it's also fairly fast. I should have my Hime by Thursday-Friday. I've been using DHL a lot recently, and cost aside I've had zero issues.
