mitsuki Posted January 14, 2012 Those are such beautiful photos, scripple! Thank you for sharing them. Your lens is so impressive. You are right that this place is quite cat biased. However, I rather like my cats digital and unable to produce allergens I can detect. I am not allergic to dogs and love playing with my friends' dogs. Your dog is absolutely adorable! I love her dark round eyes and cute little nose. They stand out so nicely against her soft warm colored fluffy fur.
Nightmare Tea Posted January 14, 2012 See, this is why I need a decent camera. I'm still looking into which one and what lens to get, though. Your doggie is adorable!

AntElitist Posted January 15, 2012 what lens is that? If you use a Nikon, and get a 200mm f/4 ED, you will see how this lens lives up to it's name of legendary micro.
kymaera Posted January 15, 2012 It's very interesting to see what you can do with different lens. I really need to learn more so that I can improve my photos. Thanks for sharing, especially the Sakura pictures
scripple Posted January 15, 2012 Thanks everyone. I'm glad you liked the photos and my little doggie. I hope to have some fun with the lens going forward. Finally I'll have a use for those scorpions that invade the house every summer, they should be nice macro photography subjects. Check out my new DollFun website. otakusan Posted January 16, 2012 Great buy... looks like a very low F number lens you got and focusing distance is pretty close too.
scripple Posted January 16, 2012 Thanks milkytea, edwardsgoldeneyes and otakusan. Otakusan it's more the focal distance than the f number. It's only 2.8 but can focus to a few inches from the end of the lens. Check out my new DollFun website. Share your own doll photos with free image hosting. DefectiveAngel Posted January 16, 2012 Wonferful pictures! I really love the ones of Sakura, she really does have some beautiful eyes. The blurring in the pics really made for some stunning shots. Galvatim Posted January 21, 2012 I think I told you that these photos are great on AIM the other day, but these photos are great! You have a nice little dog too! Your home gets infested with scorpions in summer? I think I'll stick to box elder bugs...
archangeli Posted January 21, 2012 These shots look fantastic! And your dog is a cutie ^__^" I'm very allergic to fluffy dogs, but that's what drugs are for so that I can still play with them! Plus your dog is extra cute. ^_^ Thanks for sharing these test shots. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I agree on Sakura's eyes. Sakura pics were incredible. this lens will permit a lot of creative pics! Thanks. Hopefully I can find the energy to do them. Certainly takes neat close ups. I think I told you that these photos are great on AIM the other day, but these photos are great! You have a nice little dog too! Your home gets infested with scorpions in summer? I think I'll stick to box elder bugs... Thanks again. Yes the home gets scorpions in summer. I had about 100 days in a row one year with a new scorpion each day. It was kind of odd. But that was definitely the exception, most years just a few. These shots look fantastic! And your dog is a cutie ^__^" I'm very allergic to fluffy dogs, but that's what drugs are for so that I can still play with them! Thanks on the photos and the dog. To bad about your allergies but I agree playing with dogs is worth taking a few drugs. ^^ Check out my new DollFun website. Share your own doll photos with free image hosting.
