RobotDollOmega Posted February 9, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone! I was at this winter's WonderFest and there have been plenty of cool doll related items that I've seen. Main cool things: -Cybernatic arms (for Volks?). They were really bloody cool, but the price was insane, 100,000 to 120,000 yen depending on the color. That's the price of a super overrated doll release! Of course quite a bit of marksmanship went into those prosthetics. During the course of the day I saw one being sold, so clearly there was someone who appreciated the work (or had a doll addiction who knows?). -Advanced hands and feet with individual finger movement. The hands were 10,000 yen for a pair, so I shelled out mullar and got one set. Can't use it with Lime (my Libidoll) atm, but if I drill a small whole in the ball joint connecting the hand and place a magnet inside, I could attach the advanced hand, as it is also magnetic. My photo album will also contain the brochure if you're interested. -So....many....fancy costumes. I thought when I paid 4000 yen for my first doll costume four days ago that I shelled out a lot of money. I was wrong (well it's still quite a bit). For the price a PS Vita (or 3DS or any other somewhat advanced tech) you could get a dress fancier than most of my actual wardrobe collection. Beautiful, sure, I'll pass though. My photo album is full of various costumes that I managed to see there. NSFW ----------------------------------- -Bondage gear. I didn't buy any (I love my waifu doll so don't really feel like putting her in a constricting torture device, though an occasion spank is handy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ). It was also pricy (could easily get three reasonably priced ("cheap”) costumes (which I did, photos of Lime at the end of main album). You have to appreciate the work that went into making bondage gear for an object a third of the scale of a normal person though. It has to be well done, cant hide your mistakes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). ----------------------------------- Plenty of other things were seen, but those aforementioned stood out the most. After giving the place a look around several times, I've bumped into ramcoy and (correct me if I'm wrong) Momo. He spotted my hatsune miku bag like a hawk and went for the kill. We had a long chat about doll types, I showed him some features of Lime like the magnetic joints. We had a walk around, lunch break, and then Rama proceeded to buy yet another doll XD, Shibuya Rin, a lovely addition to the collection to be sure. Then after making our final Momo and Lime shot by the outside banner, we parted on our separate ways. That was my *brief* summary for the day, apologies for the wall of text. Meeting other doll peeps is a big part of the hobby and sharing with them is always loads of fun. I'm totes jealous of you being able to do Wonfes!
