Good riddance. The one page-one article was a real pain. I remember having to search 50 consecutive pages just to find a specific one (because of how they spam articles).

So uh, can anyone actually get the language toggle to work? When I saw them proudly talking about how its readable in other languages I inwardly groaned again expecting more of that horrific auto-translator they've been using recently and wanted to check, but it doesn't seem to work at all. Clicking or tapping that globe icon in the corner that is supposed to toggle language does nothing. I was able to load the english page of this article by using chrome browser on my phone. and was about to write how pleasantly surprised I was that it was actually mostly readable if not obviously still machine-translated....but then I realised that was just because Chrome was automatically implementing google translate and it wasn't actually part of the Volks blog (the option to translate came up regardless of whether I clicked the globe icon).

I suspect it's a bug and they're still using that horrible translator, so I really wish they'd stop touting it as a feature because they desperately need someone with at least advanced or near-native English (and presumably the other languages, but I can't say if they're as bad as the English) on the team to check it. I probably sound like a broken record complaining about this over and over but having an english translation that is completely unreadable defeats the entire purpose of an english translation, and if your site is more readable when its run through google translate than with its own translate function there's a problem.

What i would really like to see is an official english version of the jp blog like what Good Smile does with Kahotan...but that's something that would require extra manpower for Volks that they probably don't have.

I found that if you toggle the language on the main DD website, it carries over to the Dollfie blog and circumvents the glitch. It's still terribly translated, but better than nothing.

It seems there's no RSS feed   I'm probably going to forget to keep up with this.

Maybe they'll add that still, because it seems like they're still tweaking it a bit as I see the language thing is working now.

If they don't add a RSS feed, you can use a website change monitor. You have websites, addons or offline programs for that, like the well-named Web Change Monitor.
