Just a general question about them

 

I ordered one thing and got my ticket,

I'm assuming from there on you wait for another email asking you to pay?

I missed out on the Jan 14th Event, but Would like to know how its run for future reference

For the international event, you enter for a limited item and get a confirmation email that you entered the lottery. After the results come in, you will get an email saying you won an item and your card will be charged at a specified time. They don't send emails to people who didn't win unfortunately.

 

For the international after event for sumika items (regular non-limited items), you just have to try to purchase them directly from the site starting from the indicated time the event starts. They sell out fast but get restocked periodically. You have to keep checking back until your item is in stock. You need an account with Volks International already set up before you purchase from the site.

If I remember correctly, they don't ask for payment information until after you have won. I think they send you a link for where to go to pay. Its been a while since I entered the international lottery so my memory may be a little fuzzy and its different from the Volks USA one.
