I am making a custom doll of my favorite character!

The melody doll is arriving tomorrow and I will be customizing her into a male.

the character is Oso from Osomatsu-san, hesokuri wars. the other pictures are the items I'm getting for him.

I'll keep everyone updated on the doll's progress!

This is a cool project, but I don't think that exact bust will work to change the Smart Doll girl body into a boy. I have a frankendolly that uses that bust, as well as a Smart Doll girl, so I gave it a quick try. The shoulders on the boy bust are much wider, and the frame parts that accept the arms for the girl aren't close enough to the holes to use. If you get one arm connected, the opposite vinyl shoulder is really far from the frame tube inside, so if you try to insert the second arm the peg won't reach and just floats there without clicking into place. Without being properly inserted in the frame, the arm will just fall off immediately.
