Volks USA halting shipping till April 19th

Unfortunate that they are closed for another month, but not surprising based on what's on the LA website that I posted just above.

The second after I got an order confirmation on the website it shut down again, it works throughout the day for a couple minutes then just times out.

Hoping the website update will be complete soon!

Quite sure.  😉  It was a single NS MDDF3 body for one of two heads I bought early this month.  One was a SmD head and the other was a default Liliru MDD head.... which this body is for.  No other bodies have been ordered from Volks USA as of now.  😄

The website issue seems to be improving. I can access it now, though some of the time I am getting that "see facebook for info" page thing too; at least no more timeouts.

So maybe it will actually be possible to pay for your 2Bs and 9Ses.

I just got confirmation my Volks packages are arriving Saturday, I guess they started shipping out orders again!

Rereading the message you posted earlier about them staying closed, it only really says "Office Schedule" which I'm unsure how to interpret. Perhaps they were able to start shipping on April 20 as originally planned, but just can't reopen the office to offer pickup at their location like they've normally had?

The webstore itself doesn't currently have any message about being closed, though I can't remember now if it had one before.

I also got an email earlier today saying that my body was shipped out and is expected to arrive on Saturday!  So it seems they are indeed back at work and shipping out orders!

The DDF-3 I ordered on the 25th showed up out of the blue today, so things are shipping.  I never got a shipping notice though.

I suspect they've had to make some adjustments to their on-site office staff in order to get shipping open again. They may only have one person in the office doing all the manual labor.

When I've ordered, I've always found Volks USA orders to not ship for about a week after placing them so Galvatim getting his order delivered in a week sounds completely normal to me.

Plus they had a month's worth of orders to catch up on, depending on how many people did order during the closure.

They’re definitely shipping order out. The order I placed on the 23rd arrived today. Three hours later I got my shipping notice from Volks lol

My Nine9Style order, which shipped EMS in Korea on April 16th, is out for delivery today. It took a total of 20 days, most of which was spent sitting at the Seoul international airport awaiting a flight. They finally transferred it to another part of Korea and got it on a plane from there.

Just to be clear, this is no fault of Nine9Style. A number of the items needed to be handmade after the order was placed, and they shipped well ahead of the estimated shipping dates for the items.

My last Volks International order has been in the posting / collection state since April 8th.

For another reference point: I ordered two wigs from Cotin Doll on April 1. They were shipped on Apirl 7 and I received the package today. This was registered airmail, which was trackable via Taiwan Post but not in the US so once it got to the "waiting for a plane" stage which happened on April 8 it wasn't possible to track anything further.

As I typically only go to my post office to pick things up once a week or so, it could've been there a few days. At any rate, as far as i recall, when I've ordered from them before it took something like 3 weeks so this wasn't really out of line with normal times.

So, question, does that mean International orders ARE taking much longer than expected? Or are they sending things out now as of May 1st via DHL, like they said they were?

International shipping is taking longer than expected, but I would expect orders in general will be slow to ship from the seller because of all the social distancing and business shutdowns.

I don't know if it will last, but as of right now the Volks USA webstore is actually working again. Pages come up, and it isn't sluggish.
