Yes, I felt the antenna was missing, especially in the picture where Volks added the lightening near her head.

Edit: Checking, Mars/Mercury/Moon are all DDS-M, so the talent gap may not be quite what it should be.

I'm really conflicted right now. I'm not sure this is the DD I want the most, but I was a huge fan of Sailor Jupiter as a kid. I'm excited to see her

Omg, that means Sailor Venus will be the next one. ;-; That one will be a must have for sure. 

I hope they will do Endymion (with a really mature new body type) and Serenity in the near future, too. Even though I would have preferred them zo be SD, not DD. :<

 

 

She's very cute and my only critique is how big the blue balls (wasn't trying to be funny there lol) on her ponytail are too big. I have the SM DD, but I'm not tempted as my character isn't technically Sailor Moon. I won't deny how curious I'd be if they made Sailor Saturn or Pluto.

I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about.

I didn't even notice those before, because most of the pictures have a blue or green background with some kind of pattern, and I guess my brain just interpreted those as part of the background. Especially in the primary picture, where though a different color, look kind of like those cherry blossoms that are blowing around.

I feel like the wig looks kind of messy. I get the idea is to have little strands of hair going different directions and such to give it some style, but I think it just looks like a more typical wig that needs some care instead i.e. it looks more like a mistake than something truly intended i.e. bed hair rather than stylish hair. And since the Volks prototype wigs tend to look better than the final product, that's worrying.

I just feel like the style they chose for the scouts is...lack luster to me.  She looks a bit more plain like Moon, where as Mercury and Mars seemed to have a bit more character.  Ah well, I still like my custom so at least I'm safe from a giant purchase.   

I like that they chose the dark green, and I'm also glad they went with her auburn hair. 

I do want her stuff even though I pretty much already have everything.  The ball ponytail holders seem way out of scale, they are kind of HUGE.

My sis used to call those her 'drops of jupiter' (like the song by Train) cos she used to imagine that's what 'drops of jupiter in her hair' was referring to lol, and that song was really popular around the time we were really into Sailor Moon. anyway...I didn't notice them at first cos I was looking at her face but wow, you're really right. I can't unsee them now. They're bigger than her eyes!

Jupiter is so cute! I am holding out for Venus, though, and seeing Jupiter gives me more hope that they will release Venus someday!

At this point I am sure they will. The scouts seem to be dropping in the same order they showed up in the series. I think we'll get Minako by the end of 2021.

I'm safe, she is cute, I like her smile and hair color is pretty but I prefer my custom Jupiter. I would have been interested in her school uniform, but I went with a DDy for her xD (and DDS for the others). I didn't remembered the "talent" scene but DDy feeled right, I guess it was a good choice xD

I agree the hair balls feels too big, but in some pictures from the 90s anime they were big too so I can understand, but it's not a choice I would have made... What bothers me more is I see it blue while it should have been more green imo.

wait wait ... that means in a few years... we get MDD ChibiMoon!!!
or even further down the line DD-Pretty Hotaru. That would be far too amazing, and I should just start saving up for that now (her staff will be a bonus lottery for like 25k)

Agreed, but I don't think boy dolls are a certainty in any franchise release. I also think Mamoru doesn't really fit the DD mold. You need a DDDy boy who is SD17 sized to do Mamoru.

Honestly, he's almost like one of CLAMP's bishies in terms of height and overall design.

If they made him he's probably the one boy doll I would think about, just because Usagi looks a bit lonely without him. Even then I'd hesitate because he would stand a real chance of just gathering dust on a shelf.

I can think of some photos I might do with Usagi and Mamoru though, so maybe.

To be fair, I don't think Tuxedo Mask officially joins the team until after Venus shows up. I'm currently in the process of re-watching the Classic Sailor Moon anime, but I haven't gotten quite that far in yet...

We see Sailor V in the first episode, and yet she wasn't the first doll Volks made, so it's possible we're getting them in the order they join the team and a Tuxedo Mask will be made after Venus. Though, honestly who knows. Volks is pretty hard for me to predict...

As some suspected, she's DD with M bust, which I don't think is as much talent as that video up there suggests.

Is she preorder? The translation is bad enough I'm not 100% sure but looks like she is. "Order period: 2020 year June 6 Saturday 0:00-June 12 Friday 23:59"

While I won't be getting her, she looks great and I'm excited to see owner pictures of her! I'm glad she's DD sized, but she should have had the large bust.

When Moon came out I was ssoooo tempted, but knew if I got her I'd have to get them all and I can't justify that. XD;; I'm definitely getting Venus (and if that do them, Chibimoon and Saturn). But with every Senshi Volks posts I get the urge to have the whole team.

All 4 of the new Dolpa dolls are preorder it sounds like, but it’s likely the delivery will be in batches if the demand is big enough. 

also every time I see anything from the autotranslator I feel another JP-EN translator somewhere die a little more inside.

I suspect some folks over at DOA came unglued when the heard Cecil and William would be pre-order. I am pretty sure I voted daily for William because people over there wanted him re-released.

Unglued is probably n understatement XD. In my case, I was really excited for Jupiter originally (I still am, a little bit)

 

But Cecile has been my holy grail for years and was the doll that got me into the BJD hobby. To see him even be properly rereleased after so many years over the ever popular Reisner made me burst into tears. OTL
