She just got there about an hour ago so I don't expect her to get delivered today, which is a little annoying because I have to work tomorrow but I'm excited nonetheless! I probably won't even debox her right away so it doesn't matter lol, I think I'll just debox the wig so that I can fix it before I take out the entire doll and outfit. Won't be able to open and display her today as currently I am cleaning my studio and I'm waiting for her essential materials (base, cap, panties) before I set her up. My goal for this year is to coordinate/find a similar rendition of one of her many casual outfits from the anime. I have done this with Usagi when I got her and it has been fun~ ☺️ Makoto is my first DD. Can't believe I'll be getting two more besides her this year haha! youth Posted June 24, 2020 She's my first attempt at putting earings on a DD & now one ear has 3 while the other has two. I actually broke one trying to get it in. Fortunately the pedals stayed together just needed to glue the flower back on the pin. It's not clear to me in the instructions, but are you suppose to pierce DD ears through the lobe or into the head? I did it through the lobe so the pin sticks out the back but it's not enough room to attach the clip. The earrings are held in pretty good from friction though. Based on my past experiences with Volks earrings you aren't meant the use the clips. They use the matte black material that they have been using on newer shoes, and they are sized for DD, so they fit her feet properly. Her wig isn't as messy Uzuki's, but her bangs are a bit odd because they appear to have been glued or have some product in them to stiffen them. I hurried home to make sure she wouldn't have to wait long but DHL says she is still out and about. It's after 7pm here now so I'm wondering if they're going to deliver her today or not. I sure hope they do but I've not seen them out this late before. I wish they had GPS on the trucks so we could see where it was during the day. Billy EDIT GREAT. I just checked tracking after I posted above and for some damn reason it now says "Shipment on Hold" 6:38pm. So the driver got tired and went home? Seriously WTF? That razzes me so much..... All that anticipation and then they fail to deliver. I can get that the driver has their own life obligations though, and once their shift is over they're done.
