Is heating cortex a bad idea?

Hi! So, I recently built a Final Boss Gaia Smartdoll kit, and though I'm 16 and don't have the strongest hands, I think it went great! The problem, though, is that I can't get one of her wrists and one of her ankles popped all the way into socket. I was thinking of using a blowdryer to coax the plastic into loosening up and letting me pop the pegs in. I know such a thing might go well on vinyl, but this is a different material, so I wanted to ask: Is using a blowdryer to heat the plastic a bad idea?

As long as you don't get it too close to the plastic then you should be fine.  I use a heat gun on vinyl all the time so you shouldn't have any issues with the Cortex.  Just keep the tip of the hair dryer a few inches away from the parts and make sure it doesn't change colors or warp due to being heated for too long.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

I went at it with the blowdryer tonight, and though I think I managed to get the ankle peg in just a bit more, it wasn't too effective. Does anyone have any ideas as to why they won't budge? My theory is that there might be too much air pressure in the socket or something

I just finished a Cocoa Mirai Cortex kit.  I sanded the pegs down just a bit and used a bit of the grease that came with it and they went in pretty smoothly after that.
