Where do you display/keep your dollfies?

I keep mine on top of a small shelf, it's getting a bit cramped though. Want to rethink my display area but I'll be moving soon so that will have to wait. I'm thinking of using a table to give them more room then make up some simple walls as a backdrop and a pseudo doll house look. 

A bookshelf in my bedroom, and a display case on my desk! Also my desk in general for my favorite tinies!

I bought 2 100LB-limit wall shelves, installed them with anchors, then shook them like their life depended on it!
I'll upload a pic once my most recent girl gets here, but its a simple set up and it fits all of my kids plus a few houseplants. ^^
Shelves are to the right of my PC and just above my sewing/craft table so I can always see them~

I keep mine on my computer desk. I was going to get a second monitor but the dolls have taken over. 

There's a ledge that runs the length of an entire wall in my room. Most of them go on that for display, although some also go on the shelves on my headboard, and of course, always some on my desk.

If it's for storage, most of them that aren't 1/12 sized go into my closet, and the 1/12 dolls and a few 1/6 ones go onto a bookshelf.

I put my DD on my computer desk and the desk is right next to my bed.

Such lovely doll displays in here! Makes me wanna get a large amount and clear out my some of my detolfs of figures or something and make a nice setup, ehe. At the moment, all my dolls either sit on my desk shelves (the smaller vinyls and resins) and my DD is on a stand next to my monitor/keyboard so she’s close for headpats, hugs and dusting, lol. 

My DDs are currently displayed on saddle stands that are on top of one of my Detolf cases. I like how they're put on display but it's easy to take them down/put them back up if I want to change their poses and/or clothes.

I love the set-ups in here with the ladders, everyone looks so cute hanging out! I'm inbetween set-ups right now - currently the crew is just chilling on my desk, but I have a gorgeous walnut floater shelf being made atm to be mounted above my bedframe, and that's where everyone will eventually end up.  It should fit everyone...with room to expand lol.

I just updated my doll display after many frustrations with my old one - the old curio cabinet I was using was great for display, but it loaded from the sides, so it was EXTREMELY difficult to get a doll out of there! I think that led to a lot of my crew's neglect.

After doing some digging around on a DD discord server, I found out a lot of people really liked the Billy bookshelf with Högbo doors. I was planning on those, but then found out that because they redesigned the Billy, ALL the old ones were out of stock everywhere... and they'd only released the new one in white so far. And all my furniture is black. There weren't even any estimates on when the black ones would come back!

Back at square one, I then considered taking all the stuff I had on my current black Billy off of it and moving the dolls there, then going to ikea for just the hogbos and maybe a replacement shelf. So that's what I did, and you can see it worked pretty well...

But I took the dollhouse roof off my curio cabinet, and it didn't fit very well on the Billy. It wasn't deep enough!

Back to the site, and I happened to find a display cabinet, Brimnes, which had similar dimensions to the Billy but added depth, much sturdier construction, and glass doors already included! Only problem is, the windows seemed small, and I wasn't sure if they'd display a DD well...so there was only one thing to do. I took Miku to Ikea!

...And it turns out that, kneeling, she looked just fine in there. I'd just have to be careful with shelf placement.

Brimnes WAS available in black, so it went home with me, and after about an hour of assembly, the new display was complete and better than ever!

The roof fits perfectly, too. Just gotta add some extra trim to make the added width look a bit better...and repaint that ugly cream color!

If you're looking for solid storage for your dolls that's easy to get them into an out of, and you don't mind storing them kneeling, brimnes is the way to go, imo. I'm thrilled with this!

 

...As for the Billy, it returned to storage duty, and I gave it a much nicer organization plan than it had before. Remember, keeping your supplies as organized as your dolls is the key to a stress-free home! 😆

i'd love to get a floating shelf set up for my crew but currently they sit on my computer tower ^^;

Currently they stand on the bottom shelf of a very narrow cupboard, hidden from view and light by a door. This will have to change, although at least now visitors to my apartment aren't treated to naked doll bodies...😅

I recently converted a detolf for figures to my DDs instead with the plans to get more, but later found out that ikea discontinued the version with all glass walls. This billy bookcase with doors seems like a good compromise, and I might even consider buying hinges/acrylic panels and doing it myself.

I'll still miss the old detolf look though, with it's super clean modern look. There doesn't seem to be anything remotely close to it now.

My dolls are split between two rooms. Y'Shtola and a resin guy based on a dnd character are in the room where my husband and I game, my Mikus are at the corner of my work desk and my Kizuna and DD06 or just kind of chilling in the bedroom for the moment. All over the place, I hope to one day have a nice case for them all though, mmm yeah lol

I have my doll displayed on my desk! That way I know she's safe and I can glance over at her whenever I want.

We just moved house, so for the moment...

😅 I do plan on getting them some shelves, but that's still a ways off at the moment.

Since I only have two currently, they live on my desk! It's nice bc I get to hang out with them all day while I work from home. I did order some stands so they're able to stand reliably and take some stress off the joints, but i think eventually I wanna get some kind of custom display together to serve as a bedroom of sorts haha.

most of my girls sit cramped together on a small shelf on top of my desk hutch. the ikea pahl desk add-on that I thought was good enough because I didn't think I was going to accumulate so many dolls 😅

hopefully soon I will be able to upgrade them to something more roomy so I can add my other two still boxed dolls! (I feel so bad for them lmao)

Currently above my desk on a floating shelf. There's room on the shelf for 3 before I'd need to find another area to keep them, so I have some time to figure something out. Getting some ideas here is really nice.

All my dolls are both clingy and somewhat feral, so they're all over my desk and all over the living room LOL They rotate locations pretty often too. I work from home, so being a "desk buddy" is pretty coveted, means being next to me for 8 hours a day! I try to mix it up to keep it fair, but I swear the 1/6/YoSD size ones (two Tinyfoxes and an Imomodoll) keep sneaking their way back in here. 

i keep her in a billy library with glass doors (with the cheapest LED lights i could find at ikea, they are 10x better than their wireless systems and have a warmer light temperature). i really recommend it!! 

since i live in a pretty dusty home, it is the most effective way i've found to protect my doll and figures 😄 i even made some space in advance for sakura miku (and other figures) that i plan to get later this year ~ not sure how i will decorate her diorama just yet 🤔

I put mine on top of one of my desks with my playline Rainbow Highs.

An update! I moved and have my own office and now a proper place to display my dolls, and some other collectibles! 

Since taking this picture, I have changed the Mikus out of their holiday attire 😛

Man, what a sweet and naive woman I was...

So, I ended up going to Japan twice and finding some folks secondhand and, uh, had to make some adjustments to the living arrangements

Storage Unit Crew is mostly the same (up to the outfits, whoops) though with more plushies.

Meanwhile the desk ended up being taken over to the point where I had to do something I never thought I would...

-and designate some of the crew to become Cabinet Babies.

And while all that's been going on this Nameless Crew has been confined to the game/craft room because I'm _really_ going to redo faceups and make clothes I swear >______>
