@blossom Thank you very much. The feet thing does not really bother me too much, I just wanted to let others know who were concerned that they might simply have a faulty doll. As far as the hands go, I was surprised. I got an extra pair of the “kitty fist” hands for her and when they lay next to the basic hands I took off her, it was amazing.  I will try to do a comparison photo with those vs regular MDD hands when I get the chance. Unless someone beats me to it which is fine. :

@Misheru Thanks for the heads up about the loose feet. That's disappointing to hear about. Hopefully Volks will fix that by the time I get my own Mochi-Ashi order in. By the way, have you found that the loose feet affect your girl's ability to stand at all? I'm very concerned about this since my old MDD3 Liliru isn't stable at all.

I’m relieved to know the loose feet isn’t just me! It’s not a terrible problem but I was worried it was just me 😭

I should have known!  I've definitely looked at their shop before, it's good to know their stuff looks just as good (if not better!) in real life as it does in the product photos! ♥

We’ve known for a while that the hands and feet are bigger, there’s a few photos of hands comparison on ig or twitter i think! Hopefully they will release the parts online soon because i really want to try them on DDP ^ ^

hopefully the wobbly feet don’t make it harder to pose though 🤔

@blossom Thanks, I had seen a post and photo about the feet but I was surprised that they were that much larger.   They have thick arches if that makes sense.  I had not heard or read about the hands so when I changed her regular hands to fists, I was really surprised and almost changed my mind.  I may try the regular hands on my DDP just to see how they look and fit.

 

@Selenae I have not found any real issues with her standing anymore than other MDDs, which doesn’t help because none of mine can stand well.  Actually, her issue is that they spin easily and turn backward, but the actual ankle is fairly sturdy.  She does not stand as well as my F3 DDs though.    Maybe Volks will fix it and I can get her new feet later on.  But it is not a big issue for me anyway because my girls sit most of the time and if they are going to stand for a while, I use a stand generally just in case. I have had too many “avalanches” in the past. 😉

You might be able to fix that 🤔 If you scroll to the bottom of this page (which is MDD but not mochi), maybe the second last diagram, #14 will help? At least you shouldn't need to get new feet.

I see! I think i saw it in this thread 🤔  the hands pictures were from a japanese owner from the time Mochi Ashi just released! If you try them on DDP, would you take a picture of it? I’m totally interested to see how it would look 🙈

So you almost didn’t like the look of the smaller hands on mochi ashi? Or do you prefer the bigger hands?? I hope they release different poses for the bigger hands too! ^ ^

@blossom I found a DCH-17 with M03 in tan skin on the Mochi-Ashi body! Thought you might like to see her.

@Pichi This thread has that exact information. I found it very helpful in preparing for the price so I don't get sticker shock.

Yay! I just noticed that Mochi-Ashi has a Base Body page up on Volks now!~

They're coming out on August 30th! I'm so so excited they're being released as base bodies too! ;w; Although I imagine the click wars will be hell that day.. Won't be holding out too much hope for getting one right away, especially as they're releasing at the same time as all the new clothes too. T~T My wallet is going to hate me the end of the month, ahhh.

The DCH20 head is adorable 😍 Definitely my favourite of the new heads.

DCH-20 absolutely has my heart. I want one so badly, but I still need to see M01 and M03 for the head since I want my girl to be flesh skin, and I don't want to regret making a hasty decision. Still, her expression and actual little teeth are killing me, auuughhh. Come on, Volks. Hurry up and show us the other two faceup options, pretty please.
