vmf50 Nao

Up until recently, I hadn't had any interest in the Obitsu type dolls, but after seeing some of the vmf50s posted on figure.fm, I quickly decided that I had to get one. Found a great deal on Mandarake and the rest is history.

 

 

This is Rinrin who is a vmf50 Nao model. I bought a few clothes for her off Dollmore, but really need to find her some more. The downside of the vmf50s is that they are an odd size somewhat between SD and MSD, so a bit harder to find good clothes for them.

 

Here are some more pictures of her. It's a bit tongue-in-the-cheek shoot which isn't reflective of all of her actual personality. I plan to make sure more of a know-it-all steampunk-type inventor who ends up being trapped in our backwards (at least from her perspective) reality after an experiment gone awry.

She's really cute~!

I don't dig many of the Obitsu heads, but this one's an exception I think! She seems so sophisticated and suave. And steampunk adventurer? Oh, man, you'd better have her out during the meetup so she and Agatha can chat! It'll do Agatha good to talk to someone from a "world" similar to hers.

What a cutie, I'd love to see more pictures of her!!!

@Poofie: One of my general problems with Obitsus is that their heads don't do much for me. I really like how Yamato has taken their base and really improved on them. And yeah, they may be frighteningly similar in many regards
