1/6 scale vinyl TinyFox Dolls!

Are there stain protection suits for the Macoco body? (for with normal and the big legs) 

Does someone have a Taobao link? 

(If this isn't allowed, let me know. I just want to bring this to people's attention)

I was in the r/Dolls subreddit just now and saw this post and the second image looks like a Little Fox/HS-01 head on a knockoff Pure Neemo body. Has TF been recasted/bootlegged already?

I’d be shocked if they are being recasted since they are already at such a low price point including clothing - but who knows. I think the safe thing would be to assume everything has that potential and buy from a dealer or as a fullset to help protect against it.

Sadly yes, I remember the official Weibo posting about it. The easy tell for the recast is that the head is all one piece including the ears, whereas the legit doll has removable ears.

That really stinks! Why can't these people just make their own sculpts instead of cheating by stealing the works of others?

Has anyone removed the coating on their 1/6 tinyfoxes? The layer stains really easily and the stainsuit I have for my doll caused the dye on the socks to leech through and there are also several spots where I had applied benzoyl previously where it becomes discolored. What is the texture of the layer underneath and how easy would it be to stain treat it afterwards?

I haven’t removed it on mine so I have no insight there, but I do know tinyfox bodies are made of ABS plastic, which is a harder and glossier material than vinyl, which is why they put the coating on to make it matte. I saw someone recently receive a Macoco body that was shiny right out the box though so I’m not 100% sure whether they even put the matte spray on those. If not, then someone with a Macoco might be able to tell you more about the unsprayed texture. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ve seen anything about what materials to clean stained/discolored ABS with though.

Just paid the remainder for Cherry and she will start shipping from Taobao on the 16th. Hoping this will be the last Tinyfox I fall in love with for awhile. I’m kinda out of space. 

I didn't expect her to arrive for another 2 months, so it was a pleasant surprise when I got the shipping notification. She's everything I hoped for and more. Sitll picking a name for her❤️

My Nomi arrived the other day - I also wasn’t expecting him until November, so maybe tinyfox have been giving more generous estimates after what happened with Macoco?

Anyway, he’s my first fullset tinyfox doll, and I’m pretty impressed with him! I was admittedly not expecting a lot from the quality for the price - but I really like everything! His wig is so nice and soft and didn’t have the quality issues I saw with the earlier fullsets like the fox girl (the cap is slightly exposed, but I could probably fix that, and the seal hat hides it.) I really really like the hoodie, it’s soft and nice to touch. I keep absent-mindedly picking him up because he’s just so pleasant to hold. I don’t really want to get any more of these guys because I don’t really have the space anymore but I can definitely see how they could be addictive.

I also didn’t expect him to come with a bucket and fish like in the sales photos so that was a funny surprise.

edit: the one thing I don’t like is actually the eye cups inside his head, which is something I dislike on dolls anyway - but typically those are soft vinyl and easy to snip away. Since tinyfox are made of a much harder plastic, the eye caps are harder to remove. I completely forgot about this because my other tinyfox is a custom and removing them was part of the faceup process my friend did. The problem with them is that they’re literally smaller than the eyes he comes with, meaning that no matter what, they gap slightly when you put them in, which is annoying. I took my friends advice and heated the head with a hairdryer to soften it and then crammed the eyes in as hard as I could, but there’s still a bit of a gap. Luckily it’s more noticeable on the eye covered by his bangs.

Monty your boy is cute also try a hair dryer if you want to cut the eye cups. 

@Monty That second picture is simply killing me. Almost makes me regret not getting him. 

I was quite surprised by the eye holes when first getting these dolls as well. I’ve always been too chicken to get the hair dryer on a doll but maybe I should finally try with Cherry. Sounds like it does make a difference. 

As for more generous estimates, Cherry at least is shipping one month late compared to the original Taobao estimate but perhaps they have improved their international distribution so that part moves faster than they originally said (especially now big names like Amiami are stocking them).

Long story short: lately I discovered existence of Little Fox by Tiny Fox and fell in love with her. She’s so cute little artist!

I found out that she is sold out almost everywhere, but some shops still have her. 

So, I would like to ask, if dolkbjd.com is legit please to order from? 
May be you could recommend any other shop? (I live in Europe, Estonia)

May be you know other BJD foxes?

But it's also not available at a lot of places anymore. The shop I linked is in the USA, so sadly expensive shipping to the EU. (they do have the little fox for sale too, so maybe it's worth if you order both)

Makes sense! I knew that the 1/6 scale Tinyfox dolls were YOSD size for a while!

Not sure whether Etsy sells Internationally, but I've bought most of my TinyFox shoes from them. So far, they all have fit her! 

 

My suggestion would be to type in YOsD shoes for a variety of items.
