In another breath, I've forgotten to introduce my dreameater girl. My first Tinyfox and I keep falling in love with her when I look at her. Initially I planned to change her eyes but I haven't seen any that grab me yet and they have their own charm to it. I'm blown away with how detailed her default outfit is! In fact I like it so much, I might just keep her in this? Glad I found fitting shoes to complete the look.

She's SO cute, omg. 🥺 I've told myself not to get a 1/6 until/unless they release a little sister for Yi, but it's really hard!

I totally understand you! I'm already craving another 1/6 girl even though doll plans for this year won't allow another one so soon. TinyFox is really good at their fullsets and it's not helping our wallets...

@Milk Seconding above recs for clothing, but just know that some of the Mokucha outfits won't fit exactly as pictured since the TF bodies have very narrow shoulders and upper torso proportions - I have one dress that fits great as it's a one piece, but the snow bunny outfit needs supplemental pieces to work because the top hangs below the TF chest haha.

Random Question: Anyone know if l/4 Ashley will be sold again or any second hand ones around. The one I ordered got lost in the mail system. I am very sad now.

@JellyFish I haven't seen any vendors do runs of the 1/4 girls again, so I'm not sure if they have plans to sell her again (especially since they seem to be focusing on the Macoco bodies now).  I would suggest keeping an eye out on the second hand market for her to pop up, because I've seen the other models show up now and then.  I'm so sorry your girl got lost in the mail, that's awful

Yea I kinda figured that was the case, I have been watching all the second platforms I could find so hopefully one day I'll get lucky.

That’s not really true anymore, they’ve done reruns for most of their recent 1/6 size dolls. Off the top of my head, I know Cherry, Debby, Murphy and Nomi got one—Cherry and Murphy are even on their third or fourth iirc. Haven’t seen them re-release any of the 1/4 dolls though.

How long are the tinyfox preorders usually up? I'm seriously debating getting Poison, but I probably won't have a job until autumn unless I get really lucky. She's still available on Kikagoods and Anubis doll cafe (can't really check taobao since taobao is blocking me agressively again) and on Kikagoods at least it says that she will be shipped November/December.

I can’t speak to other retailers, but La Peonier usually has them open for 2 months. I think they buy up a block of them and fill orders with those because sometimes the order period closes early (Poison is still available, but Liz and Tilly aren’t and their pre-orders started later).

The lead time is anywhere from 3-6 months, depending on the doll. So far, re-runs are usually 1-3 months.

Related to Fluffy: I'm currently working on making my own stain proof suit for the Macoco body type as I don’t want to risk purchasing one and have it not fit her cute, chonky legs. I will share the pattern once I am confident it will fit her (I’ll probably have to tailor it and fine tune once I actually get her) but I am using the measurements provided for Fluffy, so hopefully it should work upon her arrival 🥰💜

For all of you waiting on Fluffy, would any of you be willing to deconstruct a bit on arrival and take a snap of how thick the material is on the bust?

I'm so curious if it's the same as the old body and able to be sanded down flatter, because I'd love to eventually do a macoco-boy!

I'm laughing hard over the use of the Splatoon figma's splattershot as a water gun in that photo. They're not the first to do that... I took a shot of Mai with that a few years ago too.

howdy! i have had my eyes on a tinyfox doll from kikagoods, would folks recommend them? they tend to have dolls that other sites closed pre-orders for..

I definitely recommend having them! 

I only have one, at the moment, but there's three more I've put on preorder thru Janes. (1/6 Candy, at home. Both Kitty girls and Poisson on preorder, all 1/6)

And, I'm kinda looking at getting Dopey, too. 

I don't have any idea, other than what others here have posted about their 1/4 line, so maybe some other folks would chime in?

Kika is reliable, I have purchased with them several times for goods including Tinyfox! They are a bit more expensive, but they ship reliably and package well, so your doll will come safely wrapped and weatherproofed - you can pick express or standard which is nice, and their standard has always come in just under 2 weeks for me in the USA.  Anubisdolls has excellent base prices, but their Express shipping is about 40ish and the default method.  Kika definitely wins for having better "on hand" stock at any given time, Janesdolland has random shipments where you need to constantly peek at their "in stock" tab, and usually has running preorder slots for the most recent models.  Do NOT waste your time or money with Dollection.

Anything in particular? I don't have the Macoco model, but I do have three Tinyfox 1/4 slim bodies rolling around here and am happy to answer what I can 

I bought Tinyfox Debby the moment I saw her! When she arrived I fell so completely in love that I ordered the new Poison doll....and then the Nomi....and then Dopey...

I am so broke but so happy 🥲😂

@plushmonstrosity I see we have contracted the same Tinyfox Virus, wherein bringing one home somehow turns into multiples 😂.  Nomi's face is so sweet in person, you're going to love them! 

I have managed to sit on my hands for Dopey, but the newest boy they recently teased on Weibo may wreck me. Pointy ears! Spooky cute!

Also, a Fluffy may have uhhhh accidentally fell into my cart?  ╮(°◡°)╭  whooooops. When they arrive, I'll do some side by side comparisons with the slim 1/4 and MSD if anyone is interested.

I just want to put it out there to check your tinyfox for cracks! I’ve been able to buy several tinyfox’s so far and not had this problem fortunately.. I wanted to share that when my Fluffy arrived she had small cracks in her eye wells that just kept growing after adding her eyes in and after a few days the cracks reached the eye paint.

Good to know, thank you, I'll definitely check!  How strange, it seems like such an odd place for stress fractures/cracks; I know the body material changed formulas, I wonder if it affected heads too?

I've recently taken to shaving down the eye wells inside, so I'll be able to tell by feel if it behaves differently, hmm.
