1/6 scale vinyl TinyFox Dolls!

I'm sooo tempted to get a Tinyfox next paycheck...I've been making a little ranking of which are my favs just for fun and now I really want one. The ranking only kind of worked, because I can't decide who to get between the top five 1/6 and the top two 1/4! Help me I'm falling into the Tinyfox hole!!

@Janeway How exciting! Congrats on your new cutie. I hope he/she arrives very soon. 

@PlasticJester I'm sorry, I'm not going to be any help whatsoever. My little fox girly arrived today and I'm already smitten. I say, "do it!" Hee hee.

I did some budgeting and I think a 1/6th could be in the cards for me. My top five in rough order are Poison, Murphy, Little Anna, Lizzy, and Little Ashley. I'm trying to figure out where the best place to order a little guy would be, the one I get may depend on what dealer has who in stock. I really don't wanna wait on a pre-order if I don't have to!

@PlasticJester I love all your choices! I particularly like Anna or Poison personally. They are both so unique. But I don't think you could go wrong with whoever you choose. ☺️

@HelloBirdie congrats on her arrival ! she photographs so beautifully :] !! i hope you enjoy her + are able to take a lot of photos w her ^_^ i have a bit of a wait until my girls come in but i get so excited seeing other people's tinyfox arrive

Alas, I believe Poison is not due out until at least November. I am suffering because I must wait. Nothing really new in the doll hobby, but it hurts. 😣

 

@Squeek Awww, thanks. I used my cellphone. It's a Samsung Galaxy 23. And I used the photo editor on Flickr to edit the pictures slightly. I also really like PicMonkey for editing photos.

@HelloBirdie Congratulations on your first TinyFox! Do you have any plans to customise her or are you keeping her in her stock outfit/wig/eyes?

@PlasticJester Please do tell when you decide on ordering one! I own a 1/6 and 1/4 macoco girl now and in my opinion their 1/6 feel like a nicer experience, especially with their price range. But as long as you like the theme and faceup you can't go wrong with any.

My Fluffy arrived yesterday and because I've seen more than one person her talk about eye well cracks/cuts(?), I had one in each. I planned to shave the wells down either way, but I was still surprised. Initially I thought the black spots were paint scuffs (dw the actual dirt inside easily washed off btw). On the bottom image you can see the right crack shaved down while the left one was deeper still. Just a note to be careful when setting in eyes and not force it in case you have cuts as well. My eye wells are also a smidge too small to set the default eyes in comfortably which makes one eye gap more than the other. I might be a bit peculiar about that though.

@PlasticJester I've had good experiences with JanesDolland and Anubisdolls, as well as Kikagoods, speaking from a USA delivery standpoint!  My friend preordered a Cherry from Janes and it took under a month to receive a shipment notice.  I've also purchased secondhand from JP sites, but that's always hit or miss depending on what you're looking for.

@Milk I'm really curious to know if this is just a Fluffy issue or across the entire Macoco line now!  I relate to the gapping issue, I've accepted that certain eyes and heads will always have some level of wonkyness though lol.  I personally have 16mm eyes in my Fluffy instead of the rec'd 18mm - I think they sit better, but the iris shape and size might take some looking around to find what you like.

@Milk Thanks. I hope to get her a new wig because I think she looks even cuter with her forehead showing. I have quite a few 1/6 clothes already so I'll have to see if anything fits her. 

I'm sorry to hear your Fluffy has eye cracks as well. I'd also be interested to see if this is an issue across all Macocos. I hope you can shave it down enough to prevent further cracking.

I ended up ordering Poison from NewCloverSinging since they're doing a nice deal atm! I don't mind if it's a bit of a wait, since I should have a steady stream of doll stuff coming in the next few months, but I'm super excited! I'll post her when she's here, I've never gotten a true fullset doll before!

There have actually been several Macoco bodied dolls so far - Pepper, Konid, Lee, Ba, Panda Meiling, Joshua, and Fillion are the current lineup I believe (other than Fluffy, obviously).

I think they stopped putting out new releases on the slim 1/4 body around Tatiana?  I really wish they'd bring it back, I love their 1/4 slim body a lot.

@PlasticJester I can't wait to see your Poison when she/he comes home. Do you have any customization plans? Also any ideas for names?

I need to start thinking of a name, definitely. But I think I'm gonna leave her in her fullset, at least for now! I don't have a lot of 1/6 clothes and I've never had a fullset doll before, so I want to see how I feel about keeping her in it first.

congrats on getting her ^_^ she was really tempting when she was announced ! i plan to leave my tinyfox in their fullsets for a bit when i get them... a lot of their outfits are really cute to begin with :-] will say since she wears a lot of dark you might want to get the bodysuit that tinyfox sells, their new bodies are supposed to be more stain resistant? have no idea if your poison will come with the new or old body though

@PlasticJester Good idea. My girl is in her fullset for now. But I want to go through my other 1/6 clothes. Ooooh dolly dress up is such fun, even when you're 50 like I am. 😉
