Does anyone else struggle really hard with putting on the neck piece for the 1/6 dolls? It feels like it takes me half an hour to get the head on. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong

Yes, it’s definitely a bit of a struggle! It’s easier if you think of it like BJDs, where you pull up the neck peg and twist. Keeping the little circle in place is the most frustrating part, but I’ve found using a hook made for BJDs, or a latch hook you can find at most places that sell crochet or knitting supplies (got mine at Walmart) very helpful! You use the hook to pull up the neck peg, use your other hand to keep the circular piece in place (the hard part) then you can just twist the hook to place the neck peg in the right place.

I have found having my dolls look up and having the neck circle piece with the opening facing their back to be the easiest, as you can let gravity keep the piece in place, then stabilize it with a finger or two in order to place the neck peg in place. Oof! Definitely took some fiddling for me to figure it out. It’s still a bit of a struggle at times, but since I am used to BJDs, I’m used to this particular struggle 😅💜

Hope this helped a little! You’re not alone! The Kikagoods YouTube has unboxing where I think they show it in video form if you’re a visual learner like myself!

Thanks everyone for the advice, I'll look into getting BJD tools to help with putting on the neck part! :))

You don’t really need anything fancy. For both my tinyfox and my BJDs I’ve always just used a ribbon, threaded through and pulled upwards. Last year I was with some friends with our dolls at a photo studio and one had forgotten to bring something for S-hook pulling (cos she travelled with the head detached and inside a padded box for extra protection) - and she was able to use the drawstring from the little bag that holds my sunglasses. Anything thin enough to get into the hook/ring, long enough to get a decent grip on and strong enough that it won’t break when you pull works fine.

Congrats!! Where did you get her from? I saw a few days ago on the Facebook group that someone from Kikagoods apparently received a notice as well.

I ordered her from LaPeonier! She’s already been making the rounds on Chinese social media (Weibo and Xiaohongshu) if you want a sneak peak.

I did see a couple photos when I stumbled onto Weibo recently! I'll have to go lurk again in hopes of seeing more.

Ugh, my national postal service is about to go on strike. 😭

My Little Ashley arrived today, my first 1/6 Tinyfox! I sadly forgot to nab her a bodysuit and her sleeve cuffs aren't lined, so I need to get her one before her full outfit goes on. But she is so cute, I'm so happy with her! She's gonna be the guardian angel to Sariel, my Ashley :)

My Poison arrived! She's my first Tinyfox and I'm very impressed by her quality, weight and general sturdiness. Also, so cute! 😍 Her expression is a step out of her comfort zone for me, but I find her so fun and adorable. Very happy with my new doll. The company has definitely earned a new fan, haha.

She came with these cute pink/salmon water boots (that don't fit her feet with bodysuit+tights+sock on haha), diving glasses, and a harpoon with a fish on it. Also, a strange grey rectangle? Feels a bit like foam craft. Does anyone know what this is for?

@Ayrell Congratz on getting her home! Yeah, I was also wondering about that grey thing for a while now but my guess is, it might be a stand. Not like they need it, tinyfox dolls are pretty good posers and stand without a problem xD

I was confused too, but apparently it’s for removing stains now that the new bodies don’t have the soft touch coating.

That sounds appropriate, sort of like a buffer (not sure what the actual name is) that you can use on your nails to even them out. It's not coarse like sandpaper, though using it too much might result in a shiny spot? I'm not sure, haven't yet handled Tinyfox's material.

@Ayrell Congrats on getting your Poison! And for being the first to share her, thank you for that btw. She's so cute!

Hey all, I've got a question. Does anyone know some good clothing patterns that would fit well on a tinyfox? I wanted to try to make some fall clothes, but I'm not familiar enough with creating patterns for doll sizes to whip one up myself yet. Especially some dresses with long sleeves if someone knows a good one.

So, I haven't tried it myself because I don't yet have my Tinyfox, but apparently on this site; https://raddollclothes.com/
Under Petite Curvy, if you scale the patterns up to 120%, they will fit a 1/6 Imomodoll, which I'm not sure, but may be close to Tinyfox measurements?

@Ayrell would you mind sharing more photos? I am also waiting for my Poison to arrive and already saw every photos of her available in wild internet. Especially how she looks with her hood down? I would really appreciate new eye-candy to look at!

Thank you everyone! If I ever get her stained (hope not!) I'll be sure to try the grey thing and report back. 😄

@Ponse, sure! I took some more pictures of her, this time in natural light, with and without her hoodie, and from the back so that you can see her cool blue ponytail. There is a layer of blue hair under the black hair that goes to form the ponytail, it's not an abrupt change. :)

Hope you all like these!

Just saw there's a new girl announced, her name is Ode, she's the youngest member of the choir.

Just saw this one picture for now. Based off the design and the description mentioning the choir, that means to me that she's part of a matching set with Ashley which is super cute.

They’ve already been released in China and at least one shop in Japan got a few in. I ordered them through LaPeonier and supposedly we’re only getting them in early December…
