1/6 scale vinyl TinyFox Dolls!

@pericat i found them on aliexpress, they made keychains with tiny visions. Unfortunately new Fontaine mini-visions are bigger than previous areas so not sure if i'll use one on Furina...

I cracked and ordered Ode. I'm considering ordering her my Christmas present to myself for the year, though she won't arrive until summer or so.

Sharing in case this is helpful to anyone - I recently got some Guardlove bjd bodies and they match really well with Tinyfox heads. Below are two C-10 Tinyfox heads in white and tan, with Guardlove bodies (The machine translations kept coming out different so I have the colour ref image for the bodies):

Questions to anyone who owns a 1/6 tinyfox and 1/4, would a 1/6 fit on a 1/4 and how does it look? I'm planning on making a custom but I realize my head might be too small for the body I'm looking to buy (It isn't a Tinyfox body but it is a 1/4 body)

I don't have a 1/4 size TF, but I've seen them irl and I don't think it would work. It might be technically possible to fit a 1/6 size head on a 1/4 size body, but the head will be about the same size as the neck, so it's going to look comically small. I'm sure someone here can indulge you with pics if you really want to see how it looks.

My Poison arrived from Newcloversinging! She's so cute. I have her wearing Asmoti's original wig and the kindergarten outfit set. She's gonna be sisters with Little Lizzy when she arrives so wanted her blonde too.

Kikagoods just teased Tinyfox's new 1/6 doll, Twilight Cat! (I feel like they've been pumping 1/6 dolls out like crazy recently omg)

Her dress is gorgeous, I always love a vampire themed doll. I just feel like the faceup is a bit too similar to a lot of their other dolls though imo.

Guh, their recent 1/6 releases have really been a struggle for my wallet. First Mokoi, then Ode, and now her, and they're all dolls that I really like, but I can't be getting any more dolls since I'm out of space. I really do like this kitty and her aesthetic fits my collection more than the black and white cat releases, and I passed on those two. Hope she'll be up on the secondhand market place later on. I'll see her then...

I'm glad Tinyfox removed the soft touch coating on their dolls because her socks look like a stain nightmare waiting to happen.

My Kuroneko and Shironeko came in and I'm obsessed with them! They're my first 1/6 scale fullset dolls I own (mAN THAT'S TINY TO PUT TOGETHER, with my shakey hands it took me about 30 minutes per doll T^T) and I'm realising more and more how much I love this size!

I have Ode and Vampire kitty Cassandra on preorder! I couldn’t help myself, as Ode will look perfect with Little Ashley and I love vampires so much 😅 

They both are probably going to be a long wait, but I love Anubis Doll Cafe for ordering TinyFox dolls. They always open preorders at the same time as they are released, their layaways are great, and they have gone above and beyond for me in terms of shipping. They have also been flexible about when I make my layaway payment. Pricing is always solid too, Cassandra is on sale rn, for anyone who wants her! 
 

They also had a Kuroneko kitty girl in stock (probably someone didn’t finish their layaway, which is sad 😢) and I posted it to the Discord, only for her to be sold in five minutes by someone in the group 😅💜 So Anubis is my #1 choice 🥰

I am in love with TinyFox, BJDs have taken a back seat to them in the last half of the year. I am at my limit with two layaways right now, so I wait in anxious anticipation of the new 1/4 girls 🙈

Oh my goodness, thank you all for the photos! I've been eyeing a bunch of the TinyFox girls, and I am kicking myself for not preordering Dopey. I'll just have to keep an eye out for her!

fatfingers don't work well in fast mode...

As someone who is only familiar with the soft touch coating and loves it to bits I am very curious, with what kind of surface are the new gen Tinyfoxes without the coating best compared with? Because when I think PVC without a nice soft touch I can't shake the feeling that it would feel sort of ... cheap? I also wonder if they weight less.

My Poison arrived two days ago! Sadly I forgot to get her a bodysuit, so she's staying mostly naked for now. But a great early birthday gift to me! (My birthday was yesterday for the curious, I'm a new years baby!)

As someone with Tinyfox both with and without the coating, I don't think the new ones feel any cheaper, just different. They just feel like thick vinyl to me IMO.

Wow! Completely agree, the outfit is amazing but the faceup... eh. I still love her overall though, and will definitely preorder her

 

My Little Lizzy has arrived my other Tinyfox dolls have had quite casual outfits so I'm really impressed with the details on her dress. Its got like 3 layers and is really intricate and beautiful. I also discovered I absolutely hate putting on bonnets.

Here's the fox and rabbit twins! One of them likes catching bugs, the other pins and mounts them.

Pretty sure my Cherrie has the soft touch coating and my Poison and the cat girls don’t, but the new body still feels relatively soft to me?

It also seems to weigh about the same, maybe a little more than the old one, and the joints feel tighter so it holds poses better. Cherrie (on the old body) has a floppy chest joint that always flips backwards on its own, but the newer girls don’t have this problem.

Overall, I think the new body is a sizable improvement over the old one.

I saw on Reddit that there are new pics of the new 1/4 body! It honestly looks really good! I just hope that the skintone ends up matching well with the old white skin so my Sleeping Princess can use it! I'm glad that it looks like it will fit better into standard 1/4 sized clothes, I really struggled finding clothes that worked on the old body without them looking too long and loose.

I'm so excited for the next generation of 1/4, with a skeleton and bust options finally!!~

My guess is we'll see the debut release fullset doll by the end of the month for a Spring Festival/lunar new year promotion. I'm reeeeeeally hoping for skin tones one day still.

Oh gosh everyone is packed right now after moving but off the top of my head I didn't find any out of the box. I diiiiiid however cause some minor ones myself when trying eyes that were slightly too big... ( ╥ω╥ )

But you're right, I've heard people being it up and I'm looking out for it. Scared of it spreading to the outside of the head.

Congrats on your move, hope everything went smoothly. Now I’m wondering if Fluffy in particular cracks easily because she comes with 18mm eyes instead of 16mm, which seems to be the standard for the 1/4 TinyFoxes… 🤔

Oh, interesting, for some reason I would have expected them to be lighter!

Of my two boys of the generation with the soft coating obe of them also has the problem with the chest joint being a bit floppy. I wonder if that was a specific batch that had this problem, because the other one is perfectly tight.

It is nice to know that the quality is still good if not even better, even though I don't plan to change to the new bodies, primarily because I think they are only producing the lighter skintone now? Which I am really not a fan of.
