1/6 scale vinyl TinyFox Dolls!

These cuties arrived right before Christmas and I just realized that I forgot to post them here!

TinyFox just dropped yet another new release and I’m in so much trouble (again). They seriously need to slow down, I think a lot of us are getting whiplash from how often they’re pumping these out…

Everyone is getting stressed out from the frequent releases...   (-ω-、) Someone mentioned outfits and it would be less stressful if they sold them separately, too.

I do love her soft, monochrome design though! And I think she's a new sculpt or at least different from Cassandra and Aurelia?

Seriously. If they just kept them in stock or had regular batches of re-releases instead of these 1 month preorders and then scrapping the dolls after release, they wouldn’t have to keep pumping out new ones every few months…

It seems so. I really like the shape of her eyes. Her and Huifre have the perfect sculpts… 🤩

Oh no how am I gonna resist this new cutie... i need her! And I was doing so well, haven't ordered any new tiny since Huifre 😅

Also, my proxy received Mokoi already! I'm so excited, my 1st tiny boy~

If it makes you feel any better I have finally broken my "no 1/6" streak which has been going for 3 years... maybe this 1/4 drought is to blame but I have Fox King and Kakav nearly secured, and have Debby, Poison, and Ode on queue. Heads with sculpted mouths are my demiiiiiiiise, send help.

I already know I'm going to regret this when the new 1/4 body comes out with back-to-back releases~  .･ﾟﾟ･(／ω＼)･ﾟﾟ･

(I am joking with my complaints and deeply appreciate my dolls and the fact I am able to get them, I promise!)

Haha yeah, they release so many new dolls lately, we might really need help 😅 

Has anyone tried putting a Volks YoSD-sized wig on a 1/6 TinyFox? 6-7 inch wigs seem to be hit or miss depending on how elastic the wig cap is so I usually go for 7-8 inch, but there’s one in particular I’m considering that seems to be 6-7 only.

I only use 6-7 wigs on my 1/6 tinies, but tbh never tried Volks yosd wigs so can't be 100% sure it's gonna be ok.

I bought two 16cm wigs for Cherry (yes I realize it's supposed to be Cherrie) and Plum (Painter), but haven't tried them out yet~  ( ´ ▿ ` " )

They're announcing so many new dolls but they're becoming far less distinct and there's so many of them that I don't know what doll they're on at the moment (Cassandra? It's been over 15 days since her preorder went up but they're already showing promos of the new doll.) I still like some of them such as Mokoi and Cassandra, but they're both supernatural cats with an eyepatch. At least they are very different execution wise, but some dolls have a similar concept to an older doll or ends up looking very much like them. See Cherrie and Piercy, and I almost thought Piercy was a special/alternate release of Cherrie at first. One is a demon and one is an octopus, but both are chiefs/cooks, red color scheme, similar hair and eye color, and elf eared sculpts. Even their names sound similar. Whenever they release a new doll, the first thought is if they're going to announce the same thing but better in a few weeks.

On the plus side, more heads sculpts.

here she is ! her eyes have been switched out, but otherwise she's still in all her original stuff for now :3 i really love her outfit, she comes with a lot and it all just looks sooo cute together

Hope you’re feeling better and congrats on getting Tilly. I picked her up a few days ago too after seeing a bunch of owner pics on Twitter. I’m still in the process of styling her to my liking, but here are some pics I took while trying on wigs at a local BJD shop.

Bald

6-7 inch white-blonde wig. This one looks the best size-wise, but don’t be fooled—I had to wrestle with it to get it to fit and it popped off a few seconds after I took the photo. The wig cap has next to no stretch and is too small for TinyFox heads (this is what I meant when I said in another post that 6-7 is hit or miss).

7-8 inch raspberry pink wig. Same style as the one above, but one size up. Looks a little oversized, but it fits.

7-8 inch ash pink wig. Same maker as the two above, but different style. I tried a 6-7 inch one in this style but couldn’t even get it on her head (and neither could the salesperson, so it wasn’t just me).

7-8 inch pink wig. It looks okay in the photo but I absolutely hated it irl.

All of these wigs are ones you can easily find on Etsy here and here (or on Taobao for much cheaper if you reverse image search). I had considered buying a few, but I’m glad I tried them on in person because I don’t think I want them after all. Back to the drawing board, I guess…

Hello everyone, I wanted to share some joy I got from getting my first ever bjd-like doll, she is currently vampire-maid Poison, not fish-wife Poison!

I made a wig for her myself and adjusted her clothes a bit, to fit her better.



And here are her eyes under artificial lighting to show off pretty sparkles!

@ragnamuffin Oh my goodness, she's so cute! She's also very versatile and looks adorable in so many different wigs. I love her!

@Ponse I had no idea that was Poison at first. She looks amazing styled like that!

Anubis are very reliable! I've used them. The only thing to consider is shipping as they are from Thailand. But they package their shipments very well and carefully.
