Will Smartdoll shorts fit on DDdy hips?

I love the look of these shorts, but they are for Smartdoll rather than Dollfie. The material looks stretchy enough, but I know that the hip and waist measurements of DDdy are a fair bit larger than Smartdolls.

The fit will be tighter on DDdy, of course, but I was wondering if it would even fit at all. Browsing various doll clothing stores, it seems like most bottom underwear will fit across both DDdy and Smartdoll interchangeably, but I was curious if anyone had any experience with this.

No, the lace will break if you try. I have a pair of the white stain prevention shorts, and the lace won't pass over my DDdy's hips. Since they are black, they are a higher stain risk anyways. They aren't really stain prevention. The material of the short parts is stretchy enough though I would think.

Thank you! I was actually hoping to use the shorts as part of the doll's costume, but I'll have to keep looking. I wish shorts options weren't quite so limited for DDdy hips, but I'll find some lacy ones eventually. ^^

Not a problem. I agree! Dolldelights makes shorts that fit DDdy, but it isn't lacy. Maybe if you ask him he could make something similar for you.
