Copic Airbrush

Recommended Posts

littlecherishdoll

Hi! Does anyone know if you can use a Copic airbrush for body blushing a dd body? It is an airbrush that uses Copic marker ink instead of paint. Please let me know if you have heard of anyone using it in vinyl (also curious about resin)

I don't see why it would not work, you'd certainly get the effect.

I believe the ink would have a high probability of staining the vinyl.Which could be a good or bad thing in this case, depending on how you look at it!

If I come across it's use I'll let you know!

I don't have a Coptic airbrush, but I did use the ink pens to do face-ups for some of my 1/6th dollfies.  Not only does it stain softer vinyl fairly heavily, it bleeds out over time, expanding the colored area.  I don't know if an airbrush would have the same effect, but I wouldn't suggest using Coptic ink for anything where you want a sharp boundary.
