Looking at the scans it looks like they are referring to Frozen as Disney Collection as opposed to Disney Princess. Maybe they had a license change or license expansion. It could be a new licenses for characters outside of the Disney Princess franchise.

I really hope those two are global lottery, but I have a feeling it will be so crazy the win rate is going to be ugly. I shudder to think how much those two will be after market. I could see Elsa easily selling for thousands.

Fortunately I don't see any outfits I would call must haves for me. I like the priest and nun outfits and some of the Designer collection, but nothing I can't pass on this time. I also see a lot of stuff that is a re-release from a year or two ago.

Oooooo, maybe we'll get like Tinkerbell or something then? Or some boy characters? Or DDs?

What I'd really like is some outfits. The dresses would probably be super-expensive, but casual kawaii outfits with chibi characters? Mickey ear hoodies? I'd love that!

Unless its a whole collection of Frozen items and not just a single doll, although they are off to a good start teasing with a image of both Elsa and Anna, but there are some outfit options if I recall to go with them.

The dresses from Frozen Fever would make awesome alternates. Elsa's in particular is just gorgeous, and I would probably have her in it all the time.

Kristof would make a lot sense as an SD. He's not even much taller than Anna.

In my head Elsa should be SD16 S-Bust and Anna should be SDGr. Elsa could be SDGR too, but she's considerably taller than Anna.

 

Oh sure, go ahead and announce Frozen dolls right when I need to shop for a new car.  Uh huh, that's great timing...

I'm not enthralled with the clothes shown, which works for me I guess.  Although, creepy nun for next Halloween is tempting.

okay, I definitely want one of those new bodysuits. the super tight Smart Doll bodysuit that went completely around the joints looked sick as hell so I'm glad to see Volks did something simillar. glad i forgot to add a bodysuit to my last order now!

this is also a great excuse to buy a cat outfit I definitely do not need

Same here! I was just about to purchase some today too. It it will definitely be worth the wait for these! I wonder if they will make ones specific for Mochi Ashi, or if those will continue to use the DDP bodysuits. The MDD bodysuit is a little too tight for them. 

This is a pretty heavy duty issue! Seriously I'm gonna have to prioritize hard if I'm gonna get anythinf this time around, because there's a lot lurking here.

We've got those DOPE Asian outfits (kind of want the kitsune getup to be Asphodel's Halloween costume), that epic high-low floofy skirt/petticoat thing, black and white underbust corsets *as separates*, a super cute white hoodie with blue bows that is Abby AF, the new head. . . and that's just what I can tell at a glance will work, thst's without high enough res to double check size details. 

So...I will need to get Elsa and Anna. This one is going to be painful because it'll probably be VS/VP only and I'm going to end up paying in the aftermarket.

Frozen has a lot of good alt dresses - the classic Frozen outfits, the Frozen ball outfits, the Frozen Fever dresses, the Christmas special dresses, the adventuring outfits and end-of-movie outfits from Frozen 2...

(Also, alternate outfits would mean if someone can't get official Elsa and Anna they could at least have their own dolls cosplay them. I was actually considering making my DD a Frozen 2 Anna cosplay to go with my irl Jedi Elsa cosplay before the pandemic hit and axed all our convention plans.) 

I actually bought an Elsa wig. I was going to have Kira cosplay as Elsa, or put the wig on a new SD16 doll. I also want Elsa to be a s/m bust (depends on the movie) SD16, but most likely she's going to be SDGr.

I've got a  bit of an Elsa crush...SD Elsa would be the crown jewel (old pic, I've since picked up a coronation gown Q-pocket elsa):

Does anyone know what's up with the kitsune archer costume?  It and some of the other ones are in a bubble off to the side rather than having a price shown.  Is it just that they'll reveal more about those later on? 

(My Fate obsession is showing... Once I realized why one shoulder was exposed, i went from "meh" to "red and black archer, I need it!")

Edit: Zooming in more, it says something about page 106, so it's probably that the prices are listed there or something. The red and black kimono set is really nice, too... I could definitely see Rin wearing that.

Elsa and Anna are a big deal, probably the biggest thing Volks has announced in a long time, but we really should move the SD talk to off-topic so as to be fair to other members.  

Also about those bodysuits: most of the other bodysuits aren't listed on the website anymore (Like the DD semi-white one). Maybe these will be the replacement and will become the new standard bodysuit? 😲

I honestly wouldn't be mad if this were the case.  I've been waiting for the Semi-White bodysuit to restock, so if it ends up being an upgraded version, the wait will have been very worth it!  I think it would benefit them to replace it with an upgraded model too, instead of just having two different versions, especially if one looks/fits/protects better than the other.

Do I spy a nekomata ears and tail set? I’ll definitely need one as my Miu doesn’t even have a tail yet haha. 
 

I love the ribbon jacket, and that big floofy pannier but I’m not sure just how much of it will be training on the ground on an MDD...

I like the nun outfits--with those at least I wouldn't have to worry about them staining the dolls! The fluffy black dress with the white shirt and bowtie is also really cute!

There is a lot in here I am keen on, especailly the body suits.If they officially change the design over to these I'll be grabbing enough for the whole gang!

 

There is also a bunch of outfits( and new head!) I really like so far. I think I'll be tempted this round to place a larger order then I normally would, finances permitting.

Anna and Elsa are not part of the Disney Princess franchise, they have their own franchise (their succes is so huge xD), that's why they don't refer to "Disney Princess". Can't wait to see them, even if I don't plan to get them.

I know, Frozen is set to become the worlds largest media franchise if it keeps growing at its current pace. It would completely dwarf Disney Princess if Anna and Elsa were Princesses.

Volks original Disney announcement was for Disney Princess, so they either already had a license for stuff outside the Princess line when they announced Disney Princess, or if they obtained a new license for all things Disney, or just a Frozen license. Given how big Frozen is, their sights may have always been on Frozen when they were negotiating the Princess license.

I hope they look at the demand and interest and adjust accordingly. The worst thing in the world is to have an extremely small release for FROZEN of all things.

Because it's Frozen, it's really hard to predict what will happen. I'm really hoping limited pre-order, but I think that's the least likely outcome; afaik pre-orders with SD are really rare.

Since this isn't Disney Princess it's hard to even speculate if this will be a separate thing from the December Dolpa releases, or if these are the December Dolpa SD.

To keep this on topic with vinyls, if they are SDGr, then their outfits should fit DD pretty well. People who want to make a custom Frozen DD would be in good shape if that happened.

I'm kinda hoping for this. I would only want the actual SDs if they used the actual 3D character models for the heads (super unlikely), but if they get alternate outfits that will fit DD I'm so on board. Doubly so if alternate outfits include either Elsa's coronation gown or one of her Frozen II outfits, because they'rw gorgeous and Fate would rock them as cosplay.
