Why this character?

Saber is the most appealing.

Beatrice is my only girl. I had waited a while for a suitable doll to pop up and when they announced her for next Dolpa, I just knew I had to get her! I love the Umineko visual novel and I fell in love with the head mold.

I only have two girls, but right now, I do think my favorite is Mina (Millhi). ^^;

I think this is because I've had so much time to spend with her compared to my new girl Lucy (Melty).

And also partially because I have the look I wanted for Mina.

She looks just the way I want her too.

Rise from Persona 4 will definitely be my first, I fell in love with her the moment I saw her when she was first released, but at the time I was determined to not buy anymore dolls (I had just bought 2 resin bjds at the time).

 

Then recently I saw some photographs of her by one of my favourite photographers on flickr + combined with seeing dollfies at the Melbourne doll market, which finally broke me.

 

Now I am working on getting her.

 

Why Rise? I think she looks very unique among DDs, she is a very charming sculpt with a lot of character. And I love her full-set outfit, I think it's super cute, japanese school girl uniforms are the cutest. Add the glasses and it is pure win.

I got Saber Alter first, and... I'm not quite sure the reason.

 

I already had put Momo on pre-order, so I was just planning on having Momo be my first girl, but then I saw a Saber Alter head on the marketplace and just.... bought her. I quickly found a WS body and snatched that up too, and well... Saber arrived at my home!

 

I still don't know why I decided to get her. I have kind of a bad habit of impulse buying, so maybe that was it, but...

 

Now that I'm with her, I think in my head she was yelling at me, going "Hey! You! Buy me!".

 

So... I don't have a reason, really, but in some strange way, I kind of think that's what makes her special. As soon as she got her body, she immediately had a strong personality. I like to think this is a sign that she really was calling out for me, eheh.
