which DD sculpt should I get for Mai Sakurajima?

Hey guys~

I've been wanting to commission someone to paint a Mai Sakurajima head for me and I'm having trouble figuring out which sculpt would look most like her.

I've attached photos of her and if you could tell me which DD sculpt you think would suit her best that would be super helpful~!

I was thinking a DDH07 or 09 but I'm not 100% sure

DDH-07 with a smiley mouth could be very nice!

I'm personally feeling a DDH09. I love the DDH07 a lot, but it can look more mature than other sculpts. The 09 has a touch more of a youthful/"bright-eyed" look, and I feel like the chin shape also matches the character images you posted as well. However, it really is up to personal preference! The only thing to keep in mind is that the 07is a big head, and might need a different wig size.

I completely agree now that you mention it. I did love the mature look of the DDH07 but Mai definitely needs the hint of youth.

i would also have to agree on ddh09. i feel like it fits her very well!

Same with the 09. It has that hint of kawaii.

Not sure if anyone will see this but I went the DDH09 for Mai Sakurajima and got the awesome Atelierelivior on instagram to do a beautiful faceup! Here are their photos of the Mai face~

 

Now I'm conflicted on whether to get a DD body or a DDS body ;-;

Any suggestions?
