I hope the weather turns a bit nicer to get a few autumn photos- potato camera aside! -First impressions- Was not expecting so heavily producted a wig, and there are a fair amount of short fibers that stick out wildly. But it does have the right silhouette even with light styling. Honestly the outfit really exceeded my expectations! They were very thoughtful in fabric choice and layering- her skirt and sleeves are rightfully dramatic and there is no unnecessary bulk I am in love with the poofy shorts to. I noticed the shoe buckles appear to be plastic- but they developed a way to have the bottom piece of the buckle hook onto the strap- so there are no annoying snaps or fiddly standard buckles.A very elegant solution. archeotech Posted November 16, 2021 I ended up with both girls and have zero regrets, they're really well made and super cute! ^__^ Volks put a lot of detail into them (especially compared to the original DDs dolls) and I love the poofy skirts and detail in the face-ups. I would recommend a fabric wig cap for Reimu as the inside of her wig is black and may stain otherwise. Here's a couple of quick snaps of Reimu for everybody. Normally, I think the dolls on display look a lot better than what we usually get (in styling and also the wig. definitely the wig) but it may be the other way around for these girls. My postal carrier is normally excellent, but maybe he forgot she was on his truck today? Hopefully she gets here tomorrow... 😟 Edit: Haha, not 15 minutes later my neighbor brought her to me safe and sound. Somehow she got delivered to a completely wrong street and house number... luckily I live in a good neighborhood.
