White Rabbit Express or other proxies

Recommended Posts

So there's some items I want and I need a proxy. They're on a regular shopping website rather than being an auction, and I started out trying to use White Rabbit Express for the first time since it seemed fairly straightforward. However, it seems like several of the buttons on their website don't want to work? First my cart ended up with two of one item somehow, and when I tried to delete it, the little yes or no confirmation box comes up, and I can click mo but not yes to delete the extra. So I switched to a different browser and started over. I got the items in my cart, and hit checkout, but nothing happens. I can return to the dashboard and then to the cart again no problem, but the checkout won't proceed. I tried checking my shipping address, which I think I had managed to add before, but now that page won't load at all, I just get the spinning circle of death. Did I miss a step that needs to be done before I can check out, or does their site just suck? If it's their site, can anyone recommend another proxy that's straightforward and easy to use with a shopping site, and doesn't have ridiculous fees?

Update: today I was able to get my order to go through. I'm not really sure what happened, but maybe their website was having issues last night...

In the future, I've used FromJapan for shopping countless times and I've been very happy with their service.  They work with most sites, and make consolidation of orders easy.  Basic forwarding is $4 an order, $8 if you want them to verify your purchase (if you're buying from yahoo auctions and don't trust the seller).

I often use ZenMarket or FromJapan, both are very easy to navigate for buying on auctions or directly from shopping websites and have reasonable fees. You can store your purchases for about 30 days and combine them into one package to save on shipping. Both are also very good at communicating if you have any questions or requests.

I use Japonica Market when I can’t handle orders myself (when I have to pay with bank transfer, or something similar).  When I can handle it myself I use my japanese mailing address at Tenso.  I’ve been using both for years, and they’re both excellent services.

For orders from JP, I generally use Tenso when I buy from a shop that requires a japanese address, or Buyee, which is for YJP Auctions/mercari mostly. They are both from the same company as far as I know.

I can only say good things about both, although I am a more frequent user of Buyee rather than Tenso.

I remember having to send Tenso a scan of my passport and an official document (bills, etc.) to confirm my person and address, so if you are not comfortable with that, I'd avoid it. Although it is possible that this is no longer necessary, I signed up to the service multiple years ago after all!

Also been dipping my feet in the field of Taobao/CN proxies, curious if anyone has good experiences with any? Been using superbuy, also tried out bjd bhiner, but their fees were... galactical for me.

I use 42agent as my taobao agent.  They used to be called taobaoring.  They’re a great agent and have even gone to bat for me when stuff was delivered wrong or not on time.

For taobao proxies, I heard 42agent which used to be taobaoring is quite good.
