Dollshe Craft, are you okay?

I don’t want to be mean or anything, but I swear, I am terrified of this girl

I feel like if I had her in my house I would constantly be checking to make sure she wasn’t hiding in my bathroom cabinets with a knife until I take a shower.  I don’t know if its that she’s blank and in a non standard color, or the ominous glowing of her eyes, or her sculpt, but I just know that she’s coming for me.

admittedly, that girl is a little disturbing... the image where she's cross-legged is absolutely sending me. she's right in my uncanny valley and I don't want her to leave.

Interesting. . . I do not get that vibe. . . . But I also like truly creepy dolls and this one does not feel creepy to me. The eyes do feel like an interesting shape. . . Like the tops do not know if they want to be flat or round and the eyes provided actually look a little too big for the eye holes.

Maybe she'd look better with a faceup?

I think the colours are what's really making this uncanny valley-esque.  The dark skin with those bright reddish pink eyes make them stand out so much.  Her smile is a little too wide, also, to feel natural.  I think with a faceup and wig she probably would look less... staring-into-your-soul-ish.  It was just a weird choice for them to use a gray tone model in the first place.

Actually, before I hit send, I looked to see if there were any owner photos, and I couldn't find any through a quick google search, but I did find photos from a special fullset that she was sold with, and it doesn't look like anything helped...

That aside, the stranger thing here to me is that MAXI and MINI were made specifically to target Dollfie Dream and MiniFee owners.  That hip joint especially screams MiniFee, as well as the bust piece.  It's just a little strange and almost pushes the line of what's 'admiration' and 'deliberately copying design elements to try and get some of the DD/MNF market.'  That being said, it seems like this line has existed since 2017, so I guess it doesn't matter.

It also seems like some people who ordered her in 2017 hadn't received her yet even in 2019...  Yikes.

 that face is what someone who's never seen anime apart from those "Draw Manga Characters" books that they sell to kids would create. Absolute Terror. All they had to do was possibly not put the mouth on, and just like draw it on in an expression that wasn't "Vacant Smile"
